"Why are you doing this." The brute man shrunk in fear, he couldn't believe a fervent warrior like himself could not beat a woman as feeble looking as the one before him. "Why ..... isn't it obvious because I feel like it, and you are a scumbag and also you're a tool for me to get the attention I need." The lady said while stroking the Brute man's face . "You are a monster, monster I tell you." The Brute man said regretting not heeding his colleagues warning against crime in this alley. "In order to conquer and get revenge you have to be a lot of things." The lady said with a cold smirk on her face landing the last strike that led to the death of the Brute man while she walked into the night with her wine bottle in her hands and her red dress. --------------------- Watching her mother (The Empress) die in the in the hands of the royal concubine, devastation was an understatement. Song Yuan seeing Bogsu in that state suddenly went down the memory lane of when his own mother died.
Song Yuan at that time was in shock and hugged his mother dead for three days before coming to realisation that his mother is never coming back and she is never waking up, she was gone forever.
During those three days, anyone who had tried to go close to Song Yuan to collect his mother dead body would be scratched and bitten badly.
At that time it was Song Minhyun that showed concern about him and tried to separate hi from his mother talking him into realising her till he finally accepted his fate and realised his mother.
Hearing the news that Song Yuan had finally realised his mother, the Emperor, Song Yuan father immediately ordered that her body should be burned and the ashes should be thrown into the river.
Despite Song Yuan disapproval, The Emperor still insisted on his decision and Song Yuan was restrained by guards watching his beloved mother in her white dress burn to ashes before his eyes and there was nothing he could do, his so called father deemed it unimportant to even see the ceremony or ask for his son's well being, to him he had gotten rid of a huge burden that affected his marriage even if he gave a young child, his own son a trauma on exchange for it.
After his mother body was burned, carrying out the Emperor's orders some guards stepped forward and sprayed the ashes into the river while some held Song Yuan down so he could not do anything.
After the guards left Song Yuan slumped to the ground in despair, he could not even keep his mother's ashes safely with him.
Breeze blew Song Yuan causing him to shudder due to the thin white robe he wore as that was what he could afford, but he could hardly feel it the pain was too much for him to have any other thing in his mind.
Song Yuan felt a shadow hovering over him as he looked up from the ground with tears hanging at the corner of his eyes as he was trying his possible best not to let it out.
"I guessed you wanted this, so take and let's go back to the palace to get you a warm place." A soft voice said.
Song Yuan looked up to see Song Minhyun robes soaked in water and her hair scattered with her crown slanting down due to the messiness, in her hands was a jar that was filled with water.
Song Yuan looked at the jar wondering what she wanted him to do with a jar filled with water.
"Your mother's ashes dissolved inside the water, but you can keep the water and burn incense for it." Song Minhyun said with a kind smile shuddering as the breeze blew her wet body the more.
On hearing her words the tears that were held in Song Yuan eyes finally dropped, he could not believe someone actually cared about him, to him Song Minhyun was truly and angel, not only did she save his mother when his mother was sick, she saved the only thing that could connect him to her after her death, Song Yuan felt forever indebted to Song Minhyun from then on.
Snapping out his thoughts, Song Yuan kept tapping Bogsu face, worried that if anything happens to her in his tent, he would take the blame.
After looking around for a while, Song Yuan spotted a bucket filled with water by his tent door, and without thinking twice, Song Yuan strolled over and picked it up and walked straight to Bogsu pouring the water on her directly.
Bogsu stood up with a murderous gaze ready to kill whoever poured the water on her but it changed to a confused one seeing Song Yuan standing over her with a bucket in his hands.
Seeing Bogsu was awake, Song Yuan threw the bucket away and laid back to sleep on his bed nonchalantly.
As soon as he closed his eyes, Song Yuan heard ripping sounds but decided to ignore it, until a huge wet load was dumped on him making him jump up to glare at Bogsu only to see her in her undergarments.
Flustered Song Yuan immediately covered his eyes and yelled angrily, "what do you think you are doing!" He said unable to take her antics any longer.
"You wet it, you get it, besides isn't it what you wanted to see that is why you poured water on me." Bogsu said proudly raising her chin up like one who was properly dressed, due to her naturally endowed figure, pouring the water on her robes meant highlighting it.
"I do not care how you do it but leave! now!" Song Yuan yelled through gritted teeth, he might end up killing the woman before daybreak if things go on like this, Bogsu shrugged in response, not wanting to sleep and get surprised with a bucket of water again, she left with her undergarments directly.
As Bogsu left a monkey showed up on the study table that was the center of the tent holding it's mouth trying to hold in it's laughter.
"You laugh and you die." Song Yuan warned glaring at the monkey making it roll it's eyes in response.
"What about the battle ground I asked you to scout? What did you find?" Song Yuan asked the monkey while trying to remove Bogsu wet robes from his bed making the monkey laugh again earning another glare from Song Yuan.
Clearing it's throat, the monkey pointed to a particular place on the map that laid on the table, Song Yuan strolled to the table dragging the chair backward before taking a sit.
Looking at the place the monkey circled Song Yuan brows furrowed, "Thanks Babo[1], I did not notice it earlier, you did a good job." Song Yuan praised.
The monkey who was first upset when he heard his name later smiled proudly hearing the praise and stretched out his hands as if asking for something but all he got was the cold air touching his palm.
