Shao Chen was not there when he went inside. He thought that crazy girl had done her work so she had went back to the Cold Palace, but when he checked on the shelf, he could not find today's new reports. The latest date written was two days ago which had been checked and approved yesterday besides several complicated issues that need more consideration.
"What does she mean by this? She did not want to work at it because I was not there? Maybe because she could not get revenge on me so there was no point on doing the job? Or maybe because I have not given her the money today? Or …," Chen Liqin mumbled incessantly. The more possible reasons came up in his mind, the more irritated he was. Without noticing, he had let out a barrage of negative thoughts about Shao Chen. There wasn't the slightest bit of good image of Shao Chen inside his head.
