Chen Liqin's head ached instantly after hearing his brother's ignorance. 'I won't let my brother liking a crazy girl!'

However, before Chen Liqin could say anything, Chen Yongrui had walked towards Shao Chen.

"Meet me tonight at the intersection near your pavilion, ok?" Chen Yongrui whispered. He then put a gold coin into Shao Chen's hand.

With a big happy smile, Chen Yongrui went outside the office. He thought that he had whispered with a very small voice, but Chen Liqin still could catch what had his brother told Shao Chen as the emperor had a very sharp hearing. Not only surprised by the promise between the two, he even shocked by how Chen Yongrui was giving Shao Chen money!

'She even aimed Yongrui's money!' Chen Liqin's feature darken. He could not let Chen Yongrui ended up with Shao Chen!

With a big step, Chen Liqin walked towards Shao Chen. He was about to snatched that gold coin back but Shao Chen still move faster. In the blink of an eye, the coin had been stored safely inside his sleeve pocket.

"Don't steal my money!" Shao Chen, who was usually expressionless, glared at Chen Liqin like a fierce tiger mother protecting her cub from hunter.

"That is my brother's money!" Chen Liqin tried to seize Shao Chen's wrist but Shao Chen was very agile when it came to money. Like a professional martial artist, he dodged Chen Liqin.

"He gave me this so this is mine!" Shao Chen exclaimed.

The two glared fiercely to each other. Menacing aura surrounding them. The air was tense.

"Hmph!" After several minutes, they turned opposite way, disgusted with each other face.

'I swear I will prevent this girl from approaching Yongrui!' Chen Liqin stomped back to his desk. He decided to tailed Shao Chen tonight then thwart them from meeting each other.

Still feeling very unpleasant, Chen Liqin gulped down the sweet tea brought by Shao Chen before. The sweet taste rolled down his throat, making him calmer. Smile slowly back to his face. He even forgot about the lie he had told Shao Chen about how he hated sweet tea.

Fortunately, Shao Chen was also upset. 'He want to steal my money again!'

'I forget ….' Shao Chen's eyes blanked.

He totally forgot about the revenge plan. Not only he did not observe that thief emperor expression when drinking the sweet tea in the morning, he even forgot to go get new tea for afternoon and evening.

Only after he finished sorted all of the documents that he remembered his plan. It has been too late. The sun had sunk deeply and he had to go to Chen Yongrui now for his money.

After pondering a bit, Shao Chen looked at Chen Liqin. "Thief Emperor, do you need tea again?" He asked, thinking that he could go to the kitchen briefly to get the tea then observing Chen Liqin's expression before went to meet Chen Yongrui.

However, Chen Liqin betrayed his hope. "No need. This will finished soon," he said, shooking his head briefly then focused back to the documents in his hand.

Shao Chen sighed, a bit disappointed. 'It's okay … I can do it tomorrow ….'

After putting all the documents back to the shelf, Shao Chen went out from the office. Hearing the sound of closing door, Chen Liqin also put the documents away then immediately following Shao Chen from behind.

"Hm~ hmmhmmm~" Shao Chen was humming cheerfully. In his hands were four gold coins. The smile on his face was growing bigger and bigger.

'Why she can be that happy just because of four coins?' He was confused but at the same time, looking at Shao Chen's expression, he felt familiar. He felt he had seen it before.

Shao Chen started to move right and left impatiently. His eyes still focused on the four coins like if he took his eyes off for a moment, the coins would disappear.

'I hope she will lose the coins!' Chen Liqin prayed earnestly. Looking at happy Shao Chen, he could not be happy at all. It seemed that his hatred towards this crazy girl was bigger than he had thought before.

Because of Shao Chen, he could not get his happiness. Even made Ming Yu cried and felt restless. What a disaster this girl had brought!

As if someone had heard his prayer, a dark shadow suddenly appeared from the bushes, seized Shao Chen's arm. Shao Chen was too shock that the coins in his hand fell and rolled away.

"My money!" Shao Chen almost had blood tears. He had wanted to chased the coins but he was pulled back forcefully that he almost lost his balance.

The dark shadow silhouette became more distinct from the dark surrounding, revealing a tall human figure, cladded in complete black clothes. Only a pair of eyes showed. "You, hand that thing to me!" the dark shadow exclaimed in a low voice.

Shao Chen ignored him. His focus had been on the four gold coins which was several meters far from him. He struggled ceaselessly with all his might to free himself. "My Money!"

"Hand that thing over to me or …." That dark shadow pulled out something from his waist pocket. When he raised his hand, moonlight reflected the thing on his hand, very sharp and cold!

Chen Liqin, who was only watching in suspicion, widen his eyes. That thing was a knife! What even worst was that Shao Chen did not aware of the threat behind him and still focusing on his money.

That dumb girl! Chen Liqin jumped out from behind the tree, seized the dark shadow's wrist then kicked his legs. For a moment, Chen Liqin could saw the man's eyes which were wide open in shock.

The emperor's kick was very strong that the dark shadow let Shao Chen's hand go. Losing his prey, the shadow did not run away. Instead, he started to attack Chen Liqin.

Chen Liqin raised his eyebrows in wonder. 'He wanted to murder me too?'

However, looking from the move, Chen Liqin realized instantly that his opponent was not proficient in martial arts. The emperor dodged several times easily then landed a kick again, this time on the man's stomach.

The dark shadow fell miserably on the rocky street. He lost his grip on the knife. Chen Liqin took the knife then stabbed the dark shadow's right arm.

The dark shadow did not scream or move. His eyes closed tightly.

Chen Liqin thought that the man had felt unconscious when a hard kick landed on his waist.

"Ouch!"

Chen Liqin's gripped on the knife loosen. The dark shadow immediately got up. The knife on his arm came off and blood trickled down. Panic, he immediately pressed the wound to stop the blood while running into the bushes.

Ignoring the pain, Chen Liqin chased after the dark shadow, but the surrounding was too dark. At last, that mysterious man had merged in the dark without any trace.

"Who is there?!" a stern voice suddenly exclaimed, followed by heavy steps.

Orange light shone the area, revealing Lu Yang with a lantern on his hand. When he saw the emperor, he immediately paid respect. "This humble one heard Young Miss' shout around here so decided to check the condition here. This humble one did not even expect to meet Your Majesty here too. Is there any problem that this humble one can help?"

Chen Liqin's blinked several times, utterly confused. "Young Miss?"

"Ye—yes, Your Majesty. Young Miss," Lu Yang response in the same confusion. His eyes glanced at Chen Liqin's back.

Following Lu Yang's gaze, Chen Liqin saw Shao Chen who was sitting on the street. His eyes shine brightly with four coins on his hand.

Chen Liqin slapped his forehead. He could not help to shook his head. 'Sigh ….'

"His Majesty?" Lu Yang asked carefully, feared that he had offended The Emperor.

"There is a man in black clothes try to attack that crazy girl. He had run away. You took your subordinates to search for him!" 

"Ye—Yes, Your Majesty!"

After Lu Yang went away, Chen Liqin turned back to Shao Chen who still could not stop staring happily at the coins. 'She really …. Sigh ….'

"Crazy girl!"
