"Rebecca, why are you talking so much nonsense with that boy?" Suzune asked Rebecca.

Actually, although the woman was her mother, she never called her mother, she always called her by her name directly.

This did seem disrespectful, but Suzune was like that, she never respected anyone including her own mother.

The truth was that she only regarded her mother as the woman who gave birth to her and the situation left her with no other choice but to become an ally to her.

The emotional bond was almost non-existent between them.

And Rebecca herself thought in much the same way.

She never gave Suzune any affection. Every single thing she did to her was always about using her.

Rebecca didn't answer Suzune's question right away, she drank her wine again, this time until the entire cup was empty.

"Why not? I at least want to know what it's like to communicate with the man who will probably be our master in the future," she replied.
