After crossing the bridge, the van finally arrived in Palermo, a city whose prosperity was centered on the coast.

However, the van didn't enter the road by the beach, it entered the city, heading south.

The difference becomes very clear between here and Vera. There are quite a number of old buildings from the 19th century, which on average have a dull yellow color, consisting of two and three floors.

The people are very relaxed. Even though it was working hours, there were quite a number of adults sitting in the small roadside cafes. They drank coffee and smoked, sometimes laughing as if they had heard the funniest joke.

The number of tourists is also not small, basically they can be found everywhere.
