revenge behind peace
After finishing the call, Damian returned to the room and saw Valerie sitting on the couch with her legs stretched out, massaging her hands. He immediately approached his wife and sat beside her.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm tired," said Valerie.
Damian smiled faintly, reaching for Valerie's hand and gently massaging it with a little pressure.
"Oh yes, that feels very nice," said Valerie, leaning her back against the sofa. "Now you have to massage me until I fall asleep," she continued.
"No, you shouldn't sleep, that's not fair," Damian replied, raising an eyebrow.
"Why?"
"You should massage me too... I'm tired... I'm the one who's been carrying Daniel most of the time," Damian said.
"But you're strong," Valerie replied with a playful smile, her eyes focused on Damian's muscular and firm arms. "Besides, my hands are small, you won't feel anything if I massage you," she continued, reaching out her right hand to hold Damian's arm.
