"You're not being serious, are you?" I inquired for certainty. It definitely didn't look like Miranda was joking around, but I wanted to hear her confirm those words.

"It's your choice if you want to believe it or not, I have no need to lie to you. You're going to try a little harder if you want to kill Hayley, poison won't cut it." Miranda answered with an air of nonchalance.

"Why are you acting so relaxed? You want Damian too, don't you? Isn't she a threat?" I asked, my voice rising with a mix of frustration and confusion.

Miranda shrugged, her gaze drifting to the window where the last traces of daylight were fading. "Not exactly. I want Damian, and the last I'd do to get to him is hurting him. I don't want him to hate me forever."

I stared at her, trying to decipher her calm demeanor. "So, what's your plan then? Sit back and watch?"

She turned back to me, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I didn't say that. There's always a plan, but it's not something that involves rash actions or half-baked schemes. Poison was a good idea, but it's too... predictable."

Miranda was probably right, maybe I was being too rash and not thinking things through. Would it really make sense for me to want Hayley dead? Having someone like her on my side would further solidify the support of the people. She was rare, her kind was believed to have been wiped out, but that clearly wasn't the case anymore.

"You said Damian doesn't know about Hayley right? Are you certain of it?" I demanded from Miranda. She shrugged indecisively, an air of uncertainty suddenly hanging around her.

"I can't say for sure, but I definitely haven't told him about it. It's probably best to assume he knows, for someone who's losing support of his claim to the throne, it wouldn't make sense for him to get mated to a lowly omega." Miranda answered, and it was exactly what I had in mind. Damian was a smart fellow, he wouldn't have gotten mated to Hayley if he hadn't seen something special in her.

"And Ethan? He's smart, do you think he knows as well?"

"You mean your uncle?" Miranda teased and I felt my temper skyrocket almost instantly.

"He's not my uncle! He's a traitor to the crown and his family! That man is no relative of mine." I cautioned, and she raised her hand in submission.

"It's unlikely that he's not aware. He's Damian's right hand man after all."

"Tsk.." I lamented before gulping down the wine in my glass. The plan was no longer to kill Hayley, it wouldn't be so easy anymore, not after today's incident. The new goal was to get her to myself, but even that wouldn't be easy as well. Damian and Ethan probably knew her value, and there was no way they were going to let go so easily.

"You're worrying too much, you have the people's support." Miranda said, standing up and smoothing out her dress. With a gradual pace, she walked closer to me and took the glass out of the hand. "Besides, it's not going to be easy to get Hayley on your side. She's already in love with Damian, that I can assure you."

"That's why I want you to help me. She's new here, befriend her, plant seeds in her head, I need your help Miranda." I pleaded as my hand reached out to her round face. I caressed her cheeks softly before running my thumbs over her lips.

"I'm not going to guarantee you that it will work, but I'll do what I can." She agreed with a smile on her face.

We stared at each other for a second before Miranda 's lips graced mine, and slowly she pushed me down to the bed, her hard breasts pushing against my sturdy chest. For a brief while, I left control to her, letting her do all the work while I laid back and enjoyed it all.

While her tongue wrapped around mine, Miranda 's hands guided mine to her breasts, and gently she squeezed them, gesturing for me to take control. My hands circled her nipples and squeezed her demanding breasts passionately. Miranda 's hips rocked hard against my throbbing arousal, and her wetness spilled all over my waist.

Pushing her over, I subdued her to the bed and pinned her down with my body.

Slowly, I brought my middle finger down and slid it gently over her folds. Miranda threw her head back, and a light moan escaped her lips.

"Keep going.." She breathed.

I did it again, this time my fingertip slipping between and gathering her wetness.. She cried out against my lips, her back arched in the most seductive manner ever.

Two fingers worked into her, and her eyes rolled back into her head. I began a steady rhythm, every thrust and pull, a delicate and well calculated movement.

Again she arched her back and her breasts pushed hard against my skin. I brought my lips down on her nipples, roughly I suckled on them, and between intervals would give her tip a gentle bite.

Her hands tangled in my hair, and she pulled on them. Her legs wrapped around me, and her legs spread demandingly. Taking the hint, I pulled out my fingers, and inserted my flesh into her.

I started slowly, but Miranda wanted it rough, and I harkened to her demands, pounding her with every ounce of strength in my body. She was twisting from one side to the other, her hands gathering up the soft sheets, while her soft cries filled the air.

"Yes! Yes! Keep going.." She managed just before I felt the hot fluid spill between her legs for the second time. At the same moment, I exploded inside of her, my soft moans a cry of satisfaction.

I was entertained, Miranda was still good like she used to. She had a satisfied smile on her face, and I did well to return the kind gesture.

I needed the distraction, and Miranda was good at providing it whenever it was necessary. I knew I couldn't fully put my trust in her, but I wanted to believe that she wasn't lying to me this time around. She might be a valuable asset at the moment, but if she tried to betray my trust, I would have no choice but to make her an enemy.
