New Start? CHAPTER ONE
March layed in a pool of his own bloood as his eyes shifted around looking for even the slightest bit hesitation from the people around him.
But he was soon to be disappointed as malice and nothing else filled their eyes.
"Why are you taking so long to die." A voice filled with anger made his eyes shift to the left.
His eyes soon met another that he knew contained the most malice.
Seeing him looking at him with some killing intent the man walked foward and stepped on his chest.
Due to the gaping hole in March's chest he felt immense pain as the man applied more pressure.
"Who the fuck do you think you're looking at bitch!"the man shouted
The pain overwhelmed March causing him to groan in pain.
"You know we can't kill him yet right, he needs to be alive for us to live." one of the two girls spoke.
"Don't you think I Fuc-!"the man was interrupted as a booming crack was heard not far away.
"Fuck they're quicker than I thought. Let's go!"the man instructed the 5 people to go seemingly scared as to what was making the consecutive booming.
"YOU FUCKING BASTARDS AFTER ALL I'VE FUCKING DONE FOR YOU- caugh!!" he spat a mouthful of blood as he cursed at the running people.
He tried to stand but he the pain was unbearable.
He tried to crawl but he could only get so far.
"Fuck.....I should've listened."he could feel his chest growing tighter as he lost more blood.
The cracking sounds grew closer and at a more rapid rate.
He ignored the sounds as he felt his life slipping away.The more he struggled the more difficult it became.
He started seeing images and voices in his mind.
"Mo..."he tried to say something but he finally succumbed to his injuries.

March felt like he was floating in a pool abut he couldn't move his limbs.
He looked around but it only pitch black darkness greeted him.
"What the fuck?" his eyes wondered around as he looked for even a glimmer of light.
"Am I hallucinating or is this hell."he murmured.
He began to think he really fucked up this time. Out off all the times he helped those sons of bitches they finally stabbed me in the back.
"I hope they don't find my stash, else my family's fucked."
He began to look at all the red flags from past missions and instances,but blinded by money and wanting his family to live a good life he simply ignored them.
He started to regret not listening to his mom when she told him it was a bad idea to trust the 5 of them.

After what felt like an eternity he began to fell as if he was being pulled somewhere and the farther he was dragged the harder it became to stay awake.He soon passed passed out,but he was still being dragged along.
It didn't hurt but it did feel a bit uncomfortable.

He started to gain back consciousness when he heard some noise around him.His eyes slowly opened but what greeted him wasn't the pitch black void but a white roof.
He sat up and continued looking around and noticing where he was he couldn't believe his eyes.
He was in his room, but a moment ago he was sure he was clinging to his life then he was in a black void.
He pinched himself but he felt pain,he wasn't dreaming and he new the pain he felt was real.
He looked around again and noticed somethings where different.
The beeping sound woke him up from his thoughts.He turned to the alarm clock and switched it off.
Looking at the front of his digital clock he was surprised when he read the date.
JULY 9,2022
He got up and grabbed his phone from the his night stand.He look at the date and it was the same.He stayed in shock for a good ten seconds.
"Did I go back in time?.." That would make sense as he his surroundings looked different.
'How the hell did this happen?'He thought.
March recalled that it was May 13,2023 when he and is "team" entered the dungeon.
He sat back on his bed thinking of what you do.
If he did come back in time, he wanted to know how and why. He was kinda happy he wasn't dead but this was overwhelming.
He sat there to let his current issue sink in.
If he remembers correctly he awakened 2 days ago and it has been 14 months since the breaks started.
"If I got this opportunity I should take advantage of it."
In the his "future" he had gotten a lot of opportunities to get stronger but he always ignored them.
He soon regretted it in the future but most most of those opportunities where taken by his "teammates".
He made a promised to not let anyone stop him this time.
He got up and headed towards the bathroom.He washed his face and looked into the mirror.What greeted him was a average 20 year old with green eyes and black hair.He wasn't handsome but he wasn't ugly either but someone in between.
He looked at himself closer and looked down.
"Fuck!....I'm fat again"he look down at his belly which was bulging out of his shirt.
He had a look of anger on his face as he realized all his months of hard work had gone down the drain.
He soon sighed as he realized there's nothing he could do but work on himself again.
He went back to his room and put on some casual clothes.He planned to go to A.A
(AWAKENERS ASSOCIATION) to get his hunters license.
It was illegal to be awakened and not register yourself and he did not want problems with them.
Him being from the future he already new what rank he would get so he wanted to hurry and get it over with.
He lived in a reality bad part of his city as he didn't really have a choice.
He called a cab and paid 3$ for him to take him to the A.A.
After about 17 minutes he finally reached his destination.
He looked at the tall building ahead,seeing
the familiar setting he couldn't help but crack a small smile.
He walked towards the building in a not do fast pace.He entered and walked to the closet receipton desk.
"Good morning how can I help you today?"the receptionist asked seeing March coming.
"U would like to register as an awakened."March answered.
"Okay sir...would that be a confidential registration or a non-confidential registration?"She asked.
"A confidential one."he answered back again
"Okay but please note that with a confidential registration we do not hold any accountability for any death or injury that may occur during dungeon raids,a battle with a monster or any other awakened."She looked at him to make sure he understood.
March:"Yes I know."
"Will this registration also be a registration also be a hunter registration?"
"Yes."March again replied
She gave him a paper to sign with a nickname(for confidential reasons),phone number and age.

After filling out the paper he handed it back to the receptionist.
"Okay then place ur hand on this and it will determine you rank." She took out what appeared to be a purple stone and placed it on the counter.
Without wasting time he placed his hand on the stone.
It soon began to glow with a with a white in color.
"Okay you are an E-ranked hunter."She stated, she typed something on her computer before.
A machine to her right lit up before it made a beeping noise.
After 5 seconds of awkward silence the machine began pushing out a card.
When it was finished she took the card and gave it to March.
Looking at it he could see the information he wrote along with the rank he was given.
"OK let me give you a quick explanation of things.
First there are 9 ranks in total being:
SSS,SS,S,A,B,C,D,E and F with SSS being the highest and F being the lowest.
You are an E ranked awakened meaning you're also an E ranked Hunter.
You can raise your rank by killing monsters during dungeon raids,dungeon break or simply by killing monsters.
When your rank goes up come back for a new card.
Being only E rank you can only enter F,E and D rank dungeons.We recommend getting equipment that fits your stats.
You can check that by just saying or thinking the word STATUS. We recommend you NOT share skills and Status information.

March already knew most of this but he just her keep talking.
Without hesitation he said goodbye and headed for the door.
He had another place he want to visit before anything else.
