Chapter 1

I was on my way to home when I got jumped by some dudes dressed in black. I was surprised to state the obvious as my mind boggled.

They put a piece of clothing over my head, tied me up and dragged me into some dark alley.

Did they want money? or was it something else?

Deep down I knew the answer, it was obvious.

Revenge.

I worked for a mafia gang called The Bleed, they were made up of a bunch of powerful group of people in charge of it. It was a couple of years ago I had joined them but, doing those years, I've done more disgting things then I can remember.

Which brings me to my current kidnappers. My only idea was that they were relatives of my last victims or something like that.

As they removed the clothing over my head, it was no surprise I couldn't recognise them, it added credence to my theory, they were getting revenge on me for their loved ones I killed.

Can't say I'm infuriated by that. I always expected this to happen to me some day.

No pedestrian could be seen out in the walkway, they made sure they dealt with me in a quite place, but that also meant I couldn't call for help.

The man leading the small group said and unzipped his overly large coat.

I heard someone say, my hearing started to become muffled.

With that, the few people that had kidnapped me walked away and faced their back to me.

I wasn't a heavy believer in any religion, in particular, I thought the atheists had it right. No God and stuff.
