Nicholas's POV 

Today started on a bad note for me.

Mother has been calling my phone repeatedly since yesterday because of Mia and I still refused to speak to her.

Father left my office a few minutes ago, asking about the sudden drop in the company's shares.

The ringing of my phone almost made me throw the device at the wall but I glanced at the screen before doing so and the strange number displayed on the screen made me frown.

"This is Nicholas Chester, how may I help you?" I said in a monotone into the phone, I'm not in the mood to entertain anyone.

"It's Anna, are you at your company?" A familiar feminine voice replied and my whole body tensed up.

"Anna?" I asked in disbelief and in shock.

"Yes it's me". She replied and I could not stop the silly grin that pulls at the corner of my lips.
