The conversation between Nicholas and I was getting intense. Neither of us are ready to back down.
I turned my eyes away from him as he pressed on.
The door opened suddenly, startling us and we both turned to the direction of the door.
Out of my expectations, Mia burst inside. Her eyes moved rapidly between us before she let out a gasp.
