After they returned to the hotel Beverly became anxious again.

Why are you pacing?" Ethan asked, his eyes following her as she paced about in the room.

"I just find it hard to believe that the Mayor will do anything about this," She replied.

"Why do you think so?" 

"I don't know, I just cannot shake the feeling, what if he is unable to do anything and something bad happens to Jace?" Beverly asked again.

"Enough with the negative thoughts, do you want to go out for a drink?.

Let's distract ourselves till we get feedback from the Mayor" Ethan asked and Beverly thought about it briefly before she finally nodded in agreement.

Ethan drove them to a bar different from the one he had seen her.
