　　He stepped forward and was about to reach me but I was quick to distance myself away from him. I had a hunch as to why he was acting this way. I couldn't voice it out because I knew I have no matters about his business.

　　"You are my mate. I want to explain and I don't want you to assume that there is something going on between Amelia and I."

　　"You don't need to explain. I don't really care."

　　I saw how Claude shifted his emotion upon my words. A hurt expression was visible on his eyes.

　　"I need to go." I was about to leave when I decided to look at Claude. "Enjoy yourself with Duchess Amelia, Sir Claude."

　　I marched away before I could say anything that would hurt both of us. I am on the verge of hurting him for hurting my wolf. I bit my lower lip when I came to a realization.
