The Yan Family's housekeeper inspected each room to check whether the servants had cleaned and tidied the entire estate.
Just as the housekeeper reached the first floor room of Chu Zhiyi and Yan Jingting, the servant waiting to one side began to drift off with her gaze, seemingly wanting to speak but stopping herself, as if she had encountered some issue.
The housekeeper swept a glance around the bedroom; nothing seemed to be missing. Chu Zhiyi's frequently used items, such as gemstones and pearls, were well-maintained and still placed in their storage boxes. The most valuable items in the room were kept in a safe and a storage room that only Yan Jingting and Chu Zhiyi could open. There was no sign of anything missing.
Exiting the bedroom, the housekeeper turned to the servant, speaking in a gentle tone, "Do you have something you wish to tell me?"
The servant snapped back to reality, her face pale with fright as she suddenly shook her head, "No... Madam, I have nothing to say."
