My name Is Olivia, Olivia Neron.
Samantha furrowed her brows as a look of confusion appeared on her face.
Neron? Who's that?
Samantha turned to her father. Dad, do you know of any Neron?
Samantha. Marie's voice was low and steady as she called this name with a smiling face.
Samantha instantly got the message and she shut up immediately.
Veronica was about to say something when Scott cut her off with a smile.
Huh? you want to say something, Veronica?
Veronica closed her mouth focused on her food.
Olivia wasn't dumb, she sensed the atmosphere that pervaded the room instantly.
Mr Page turned to Olivia. Ms, eat up please.
Olivia swallowed. She felt unwanted in this room, Samanthat hadn't spoken in an innocent manner at all.
And who knew what that lady on purple makeup had wanted to say before Scott interrupted her? it was certainly not something good since Scott had stopped her so tactically.
Samantha disliked her, and that was obvious.
But Olivia really didn't care. It wasn't like she and Scott were actually dating and she intended on marrying him or anything of the sort. She only felt awkward when her late father was addressed in such a manner.
She just hoped Samantha would hide her unreasonable hatred for her and be careful not to speak about Neron, as she had done before.
Olivia cast a glance at Scott, he was staring down at his food, absent minded.
Olivia ate slowly, she wouldn't have eaten at all if the food didn't look so appetizing and mouth watering.
Regardless of what was happening, Olivia still wanted tohave a taste of this food as she wasn't sure if would ever be opportuned to have a taste of this wonderful delicacy ever again.
If not for one thing, Olivia would hae first asked Scott about the restroom of this place. But she didn't, as that would certainly get weird.
So Olivia could only hope that nothing would grow in her stomach as she always feared.
The others, except Scott chatted happily as they ate.
Scott seemed to be feeling the same way she was feeling.
Mr Page suddenly turned to Olivia.
Ms Neron, You've been quiet all this while, and my son too. Is there anything going on?
Marie leaned closer to Olivia as she whispered incredulously. Yes, anything like pregancy?
Olivia shook her head with a smile. No sir, nothing is going on.
Mr Page smiled again before speaking. You said your name was Olivia, right?
Olivia nodded her head. Yes sir.
So, Ms Olivia, what does your father do?
Marie stared at her husband in a persuading manner. Honey, is that really neccessary? I mean, she's the girl.
Veronica spoke with a smile. Of course it is, Ma'am. Scott can't just marry a nameless nobody,You know. Don't you think so, Samantha?
Of course, you're right. Samantha said with a smile. Big brother Scott should only marry from a family like that of Aunt Veronica.
Marie stared at both of them, speechlessly.
Scott turned to Veronica and Samantha who sat beside each other.
I don't think it's appropriate for you to to interrupt mom when she's talking. Even if Veronica doesn't know that, Samantha, you should at least know that much, don't you think so?
But mom was already...Samantha was about to say somethingin protest when Scott repeated his question.

Samantha nodded her head and kept quiet.
Samantha had been tamed so Scott turned to Veronica.
Veronica, even though I don't understand why you're here...

I don't care who invited you. Scott's interruption was sharp and to the point.
Scott continued. I just want you to know that you have no right to know anything about matters that concern me, not to talk of dictating the kind of family I should get married to.
Marie had a big smile on her face as she lowered her head and continued eating her food.
Me page continued his talk. I guess I don't have to ask after your parents anymore, right?
Olivia forced a smile. Do as you please, sir.
Veronica turned to Olivia. I'm particularly curious, what does Mr Neron do?
