Chapter 4

It was the same day and Zero would remember this as 'the best scene ever' when he first watched it and found out Graff was alive, now he was in that very same scene.

' I can't believe Garff made it... He was not looking good' hiccup muttered

'I think he'll be alright...That dragon has a lot of fight in him.' Astrid replied.

'He's not the only one.'

'Hiccup, we can't let what happen to Garff or the other Deathsong happen to any other dragon'

Wow, thanks for finally talking 'bout me...

'You're right. And we're not going to.' hiccup responded 'Listen Gang, the dragon hunters are still out there. I know you all want to go home but-'

(Okay, you get it. Right? Im going to not let the MC listen anymore)

Zero's thoughts trailed off as he looked around.  Wow...way more realistic than I thought...It's surprisingly hot...

'What about that guy?' a voice that seemed to be Ruffnut's voice caught his attention.

'What? Well, I don't know. from what Astrid told me. He was so docile and calm and focused all of his attention to Garff instead of us, they must be close somehow. And even now it didn't attack but follow us willingly here!' Hiccup responded.

'Are they talking about you?' Garff asked tilting his head.

'Yea, I think so, can't believe they can't guess we're brothers.'

'Heh, That's a bit funny.'

'They might be talking about me...No, they will be talking about me.'

'So, what's wrong with his color? Isn't he not supposed to be all bright and colorful?' a voice which was definitely Tuffnut asked.

'It's albino for sure...' He touched my leg. Ewww...Social distancing! Luckily he pulled away.

'So what should we call it? it's not like we should keep calling it 'the Deathsong'.' Tuff asked again.

'Syncope!!'

'Anacruza!!'

'Legato!'

'TimeTrial...!'

'Stave?' they kept losing excitement after Zero not answering any of them

'Since when did you come up with Abstract names?! How about we keep it simple like...Zero?'

Instinctively, I turned to Fishlegs, the one who said it. He hade a suprised face, wide eyes and all. Dang it! Why do I have to be like this... 

' Hiccup, maybe the reason that it's docile is that it has a rider? Maybe someone raised it from birth...It would explain why he has a name.'

Nope, nope, not today. Mi leaving, I do not care. He flew off in one direction and made several turns so he could lose them. Flying pass many dragons, he found a decent size cave to rest in. It had a lighter grey stone color for the walls and patches of white in it which he thought to be salt. Going to the farther test wall, He made himself a simple, soft, amber nest that had the constituency of rubber and was shaped like a disk. Going outside of the den, Zero made a wolf like statue to alert him if anything comes too close. The wolf was in a sitting pose and looked straight ahead. He instead of sleeping, since it was still evening, make a pet that acted kind of like a robot dog, it had no emotion. Sculpting a small, long dog or a dachshund, he remembered Sheep, who was his dog that was actually staying in his room the very night he woke here. It was a nice thing to play with for a while. He commanded through the amber to act like a dog and surprisingly accurate to one, accurate to dachshund from what he heard about them. Huh, must be connect to my memories...Wait, no way, if they're connected to me...Could they act like cameras? Trying it out, he thought hard on the Wolf statue out front. After minutes, his vision got blurry and suddenly, it was like was outside, he tried to crane his neck, finding it harder. It Actually worked? YEA! I'M SO SMART! He thought about himself and Poof, he was back in his body. Sitting down he thought about his awkward situation before his stomach growled, breaking the silence Sighing, he realized how hungry he is. Fighting did not help huh? Maybe I could fish of the coast...or? I could steal, wouldn't that be risky? I could just fish now and wait till is dark and when they're already sleeping- Oh, it's already dark. Geez, it gets dark faster than I thought!

Zero came out of the Grey and white den and looked up; No toothless. He carefully sneaked out so not to alert any predators and took to the sky, hovering in place. He looked around and found the Edge in a matter of seconds, it was very easy to see. Starting to move he got closer to the edge. Most likely there's a barrel of fish in the stables. Landing as quietly as he could onto the edge of the stables. He peeked his head into it he saw all dragons but for one, Garff, sleeping. Garff was solemnly looking down on the ground seeming distraught. When he entered Garff ear-fins perked up.

'Brother! Your here- oh right. why did you run Zero. did they annoy you?'

'no, no. i just don't like being the main center of attention' he shrugged back getting closer to the back. He started talking in a louder tone ' Just getting fish to eat. And, don't ask me to take you with me. You need rest, the riders will help you. More than I can'

The dragons started to stir so Zero dashed in and out, only able to grunt a simple bye to Garff and get as many fish stuffed in my mouth as possible. He flew as quickly as he could back to his den. Zero landed at the entrance of the den and chewed on his fishes, finishing his meal. Into the cave he went, curling up into a small ball shape and falling asleep.

Hiccup paced on the edge of the Dragon stables with everyone else. 

' And the barrel was flipped upside down with barely any fish but none of the dragons cages where open?'

'Nope, not one.' Fishlegs replied.

'I think I may have a guess on who did it..'

'Zero of course! Who else could have done it!' Tuffnut finished for him.

'You don't think I know that.' he said with annoyed tone. 'Look gang, I think we have a wild Deathsong we have to find'
