A Bold Plan

In the meantime, Long Chen was utilizing his Traceless Breeze Striding Steps to check the most important locations in Suqui Town quickly.

The first place he checked out was naturally the Mayor's Office.

Long Chen was worried that the civilians or the Mayor's Personal Guards would take note of him, so he remained a bit farther away from the building.

After taking a glance, he realized that the situation here seemed normal. The riots were indeed occurring, but the situation wasn't so bad.

Long Chen decided to check out the following most important location in Suqui Town. The Trade Union.

Long Chen noticed that many warriors were concealed within this market. He guessed that these were mercenaries hired by the Trade Union.

The JRA most likely sent the warriors dressed in white light armor to assault this school. Meanwhile, the ones fighting them were the guards of these educational institutes.

The Suqui Prison is situated in the Western Part of Suqui Town. Thus, it could be considered close to Long Chen's position.

Long Chen quickly utilized the Traceless Breeze Striding Steps to head to the prison.

The entire prison was in outrage as the Law Enforcement Officers were fighting these unruly convicts and throwing them back in prison.

Naturally, all the Law Enforcement Officers had been summoned to restrain these five hundred prisoners.

Among these five hundred prisoners, around two hundred had already escaped. They are prowling in Suqui Town, stealing some money from random civilians or merchants before fleeing the town.

Fortunately, entering the prison was not an issue for Long Chen. He noticed many individual prisoners fighting the Law Enforcement Officers near the entrance.

Ignoring them all, Long Chen quickly headed toward the upper levels of the prison. He wanted to find Lian Ming quickly.

The Law Enforcement Officers noticed that this man wasn't wearing their uniform and believed he was also the enemy. They planned to block him from going further.

Long Chen quickly utilized an illusion to blind them. It was simple to create this illusion. He just had to flash a white light illusion. This was a stationary illusion and depended more on Long Chen's speed to retract his illusion.

This trick worked in his favor as all the Law Enforcement Officers struck by this illusion were blinded for a few seconds.

Long Chen quickly passed them with his movement technique.

The Law Enforcement Officers couldn't follow him as they had to hold their ground. They couldn't allow any more convicts to escape.

They could only trust their comrades on the upper levels to stop this man.

Very soon, Long Chen arrived on the fifth floor.

The fifth floor was different compared to other floors. The other floors were swarming with inmates and Law Enforcement Officers fighting each other, but the fifth floor seemed a bit desolate in comparison.

Long Chen felt tremors from the fifth floor and thought, 'Strong warriors are fighting on this floor.'

Long Chen's guess was absolutely right. Lian Ming was fighting a dangerous inmate. He was the only prisoner at 4 Star Rank. His name is Shao Bo.

He was captured just months ago for stealing the trade union's goods. However, Shao Bo surrendered quickly when the Law Enforcement Officers arrived, so his cultivation hadn't been crippled. He was bound promptly with Anti-Ardor Chains, so he couldn't really utilize his cultivation.
