troublesome suspect

after a few hours the lady came out of the room and left the garden.

she followed the routine of nursing rahen, playing with the others followed by working in the room and just like that 2 weeks passed and Rahen's wound that was supposed to heal in a month healed completely in half the time

he also made friends with some others at the place and explored the place he was in.

it was much larger than what Rahen had initially thought and had many more animals.

though the one thing that caught his attention the most was an energy shield around the whole place that only allowed the animals from the garden to pass through.

flying out from there he found out that this place was situated between the lord's castle and the forest. it was surrounded by large walls, on the castle's side there were two entrance to garden. one from the lady's room and one more entrance that had never been opened were the only way to get in while there were many ways through which animals from there could come and go into the forest

Two days ago though, that entrance was opened and through which the lady whose name as Rahen came to know was liyan entered along with some guards who were carrying someone on a stretcher.

those guards left the person on the stretcher in liyan's room and since then she had not come out, and roars of an angry beast could be heard from the room.

Rahen waited but nothing happened till five days. on the fifth day she came out of the room with a worried expression on her face and started hastily walking towards the exit.

As she walked to the door rahen came flying and sat down on her shoulder. he was curious about the new planet he was on and now that he was at full health he decided to follow liyan to explore more.

"with all the troubles going around i didn't even notice that you have healed, congratulations little fellow." she said while rubbing rahen on head with her finger.

"but it's not time to play, you see I am a little busy" she said and took Rahen off her shoulder. but rahen flew back and sat down on it again and looked at liyan as if asking for permission to sit there

"fine but I'm busy already, so do not go around causing more trouble, ok?" she sighed and continued to walk towards the exit.

reaching the door she took out a key and inserted it into a lock on the wall and the huge door opened following that.

"welcome lady liyan " said a bullman getting liyan as she entered through the gate. exiting the gate Rahen saw that they had entered some sort of laboratory.

"I've already made the antidote to return them to normal. the formulae is written here, prepare it fast and give it to everyone affected. now i will be going to the castle, send someone to bring the person from my lab back" she said and took out a paper and a transparent bottle with red coloured liquid filled in it.

while she said that the person was looking at Rahen all the time.

"don't mind him, continue your work" she said again and started to walk and that person went back to work. Rahen remained seated on her shoulder the whole time while checking out the place. He found out that this place was both a hospital and research lab.

on the way out of there he saw many patients, all of them were fully transformed into the form of a bull and were tightly restrained like the one who was brought to liyan's garden.

getting out of there he looked around the city. as he thought the houses were much bigger then those of humans. they were made of a dark grey coloured material and most of them were very simple. he soon noticed that the streets of the whole city were empty. other than the guards patrolling the area no one else was visible.

"It seems like something bad is going on here" Rahen thought to himself

liyan continued to walk for a few minutes before she reached the castle. in there she navigated through some hallways before entering a room.

in there Rahen saw a bullman sitting on a chair behind a table going through a pile of

documents.

he looked like a very ferocious man. much larger than liyan, even for the standard of bullman he seemed much more muscular. the most noticeable thing about him were his horns. of the two horns one was half broken and another one also had many marks on it.

more than marks they seemed like scars of battle showing the battled he must have gone through.

looking at the person Rahen tried to use inspect but all the information appeared in form of question marks. a few days earlier when trying to use the skill on liyan he came to know that if the target level is too high the skill was unable to show him anything.

"as i thought my level is too low" he thought

seeing liyan entering the room the man stopped working and looked at her.

"oh liyan! you are here, and what here is this little creature on your shoulder, your new friend?"he said while looking at Rahen

"greetings father. and this guy here just tagged along with me while i was coming to see you" liyan greeted her father and proceeded to sit on the sofa.

"i see" the man also got up from his chair and sat on the sofa opposite to liyan.

"it's good you came, i was about to send someone to fetch you" he said

"did something else happen? " liyan asked

"nothing yet and things have also started to calmed down a little." the man sighed before continuing "we were able to find some clues related to the problem" he said

hearing that liyan got more serious," what did you find out?"

"after doing some enquiry about the transformed people before going rogue, we were able to come to a suspect. it is highly possible that we are correct but the identity of the suspect has created another problem for us" he explained

"who is it?"

"the temple.... we found out that all the transformed went to the temple 2-3days before transformation. though there are also people who are fine after going there, but the temple is the only common link we were able to find. take a look" he forwarded a report to liyan as he explained the situation.

"a troublesome suspect indeed" liyan sighed and both of them went silent as she started to read the report
