Kazuya opened his eyes and felt the rays of the sun piercing his vision like a sign of nature itself acknowledging his awakening. "Finally, the world bows to my presence," he thought, with a satisfied smile. The light was not just light; it was a divine spotlight shining down on him, the one true god of this universe.
He felt movement beneath him. Looking down, he realized he was riding a horse, like an emperor on his triumphant march. "Of course, my destiny is to be worshiped as I ride through this battlefield," he thought, convinced that every moment was orchestrated to demonstrate his supreme power.
The sound of heavy, wild footsteps came from his left. The ground trembled, and Kazuya looked, unafraid, at a 3-meter titan charging toward them, like a beast sent to test his grandeur. When the titan grabbed a soldier beside him and devoured him, the screams of agony echoed like frantic applause in his distorted mind. "They cry out for me! They celebrate my existence!" He could barely contain his ecstasy. "Yes, show more, scream more for my glory!"
He smiled darkly. "This is my moment to show these mortals what a true god is." Feeling the weight of the Vertical Maneuvering Equipment strapped to his waist, he drew his blades, every movement an act of majesty. He leaped from the horse, the equipment activating with a metallic roar, and launched himself toward the titan like an avenging angel of his own divinity.
The members of the Survey Corps gaped as they watched him in action. "What the hell...?" muttered Gelgar, watching Kazuya with a wary expression. "This guy acts like he's the king of the world."
But Kazuya didn't hear them. In his mind, he was the king. More than that, he was the god. "They are stunned," he thought, "admiring the splendor of my presence!" He charged at the titan, his blades cutting through the nape of the creature with precision and fury. The titan's head flew through the air, and Kazuya opened his arms as if awaiting applause only he could hear.
When one of the team members stumbled and fell at the sight of the titan's head rolling, Kazuya imagined he was bowing. "Yes, kneel! Recognize your god!"
"This guy is completely insane," Miche commented to Moblit, both exchanging confused looks.
"He's definitely not right in the head," Moblit agreed.
Kazuya saw their looks but interpreted them as silent adoration. "They fear me, but soon they will understand that I am a benevolent god," he thought. "Just stay at my feet, and you will be saved."
Moblit cautiously approached him. "Hey... you there, what's your name?"
Kazuya turned slowly, with an enigmatic smile, as if he had just heard the most important question in the universe. "My name? I am Kazuya. The one. The absolute." He said this as if it were a title everyone should know, and as if it were obvious that his name was destined to be chanted in praise.
Moblit raised an eyebrow, trying to recall. "Ah, yes... Kazuya. You're the rookie." He sighed, noting Kazuya's odd behavior. "Just don't do anything reckless, okay?"
But to Kazuya, Moblit's words sounded different. He twisted them in his schizophrenic mind. "They know me! They even know my name! I am already a legend among them." He smiled broadly, believing Moblit was whispering instructions of admiration.
A column of red smoke rose into the sky, and Eld Gin commented, "Looks like the mission failed this time. Let's regroup. That smoke signal was probably sent by Captain Levi."
Kazuya lifted his head with pride, as if the smoke were an offering to him. "Of course, it failed, because I had not yet decided the fate of this mission," he thought. "But it's all part of a grander plan... my plan."
As the group began to disperse, he mounted his horse again, feeling like a god among mortals. "They still do not fully comprehend my magnificence," he murmured to himself. "But time is irrelevant for an eternal being like me. Soon, all will kneel before my glory."
