Chapter 67 : Alan's accidental match with blue whisper

inside a huge apartment that belongs to the C team, there was a very heated argument going on .

" I can't believe you astra, how could you do that to me " Gina half screamed at the apologetic astra, he overdid it with her.

they had a match to pass and there were both fighting each other, Gina told him not to look at her as a friend but as an enemy, that she would do the same but unfortunately for Gina, she was knocked out pretty fast, she didn't even know how it happened.

" once again I'm sorry, decides this on you "

" what !! " Gina continuously blamed him for everything, she even went as far as saying that he didn't watch the fact that she was a girl.

" you guys would look so good as a couple " Callie said popping up a bottle of booze.

" what ? " Gina asked in a whisper, her face growing red.

" well that's not for you to decide is it ? " astra said swiping her drink away.

" you booze snatcher " Callie cried for a hero to rescue her drink.

" is this thing alcohol ? " astra asked, it was like he was drink pure tasteless water .

" of cause man, its 99.9% pure alcohol " Daniel said patting his back before sitting down on the gigantic bed, taking a bottle for himself.

" forget it, just pass me the juice " he said to Alan

" well sorry about your little display Gina but at least we know who will be the winner " Dante said holding his bottle up, { pretty sure he was already high ]

" speak for yourself, I'm still in the game " Alan corrected

" the good looking noble leader has spoken, well it depends if you win tomorrow's match, who are you fighting anyways " Dante asked.

" I don't know yet, the match setter told me to pick up my bandage before the fight, then I would know " he said taking a sip from his booze.

" oh okay, but astra you're really something else, in just two days you've reached 266th floor, everyone was so surprised, " Dante in his high state said proudly.

" yeah, you are totally awesome, but you know it just sucks, those people are really blind, it was just a fluke, they just brought me to floor one again " Callie said as she got all emotional, she lost a fight in 59th floor by letting her ego triumph over her, she was demoted to floor one, the disgrace was just too much, she decided to quit the entire thing, not receiving even dime.

" your just sad because you failed " Dante mocked senselessly, he was completely wasted by this time, almost ready to pass out.

After the gang saw how the blue whisper fought, they knew it wouldn't be long before Fabian was dead, so in the next two days, they took matches one after the other, astra won all his matches easily with sometimes just a chop on the neck and it was over.

in just two days, astra and the blue whisper had became the most dangerous fighter in the devils furnace, ascending to higher floors with ease, astra was at the 266th floor and blue 265, while Alan followed at 264, closely behind was Gina before her fight with astra which resulted in her been demoted, the rest were all demoted and refused to start a fresh.

Blue had proven to everyone not hiding for a single second, that the professional assassin was here, for the past 4 days of blues attendance in the devils gate, 75 victims had fallen, no one knew which would be next on the list so they tightened security because they couldn't disqualified blue, and killing wasn't prohibited since it was a no mans land theme, there were no rules nor laws to protect the unfortunate past and present victims of the blue eyed assassin.

" I wish you well in tomorrow's match " Dante patted Alan before he passed out, out of the bunch, Gina and astra were the only once left, mostly because Gina disliked alcohol and astra just couldn't seem to taste the alcohol in any of the booze.

" well their wasted " Gina said with a nervous smile, she couldn't comprehend the fact that there were the only once in the room ( technically the only sober once ) she wanted to say something but astra simply waved her to sleep, as he went outside, he wanted to sleep outside in the green field that he found during the day, after been cooped up in one room with his subordinates for so long, he felt like he was been suffocated.

ever since they came to this island, xaria had been at sleep, she thought this place would actually be fun, but she was even more disappointed then astra so she took a long nap, only to wake up if something exciting happened or they were going home.

astra just laid on the grass field, one hand over his eyes as he let the darkness take over, ready for any nightmares to play, he wasn't weak, he feared no one except himself, he was a terrifying person and sometimes he seemed terrified of himself that why he was so distant with everyone, he was like a ticking time bomb, the trigger was always there, he never knew what he needed was someone to understand him, someone he could share his burdens with, but he was so afraid. Everyone he loves, or anything he finds beautiful always ends up leaving him or getting hurt.

he was tired of letting people in only to die the next day, it frustrated him so much, he never really understood that his emotions were draining him.

" Dora " he managed to say as tear flowed from his eyes, as soon as his tears touched the soil, the entire green field immediately withered.

the next day everyone got up feeling energetic, everyone doing there morning routine before astra joined them, he didn't answer any of their questions because he was in a sour mood, he dreamt about something he shouldn't have, something he thought he has buried long ago.

" well come on, I still have to pick up my bandage " Alan urged them to hurry up, which they frantically did.

" does Astra have bipolar ? " Freya asked in a hushed tone.

" no he doesn't, well his a moody person but he doesn't have bipolar " Gina answered in the same hushed voice .

" maybe he had a troubled childhood " Callie asked.

" no, not at all "

the girls gossipped about astra in hushed tone while Alan went to take his bandage, the boys sat separately, each indulging themselves in their on world.

a minute later

" so who are you up against ? " Dante asked with a smile, while everyone got up from their chairs, as they made their way to the battle tower.

" well, I still don't know, they said there has been a glitch in the system, but I still have to fight with whomever comes as my opponent " Alan said with a shrug .

" I wonder who the unlucky bastard would be, who ever appears just roast them okay " Callie said been Alan hype man.

Everyone was seated, waiting for the match to start, the gamble lord seemed to be more uptight, as they were in a concealed forcefield surrounded by numerous bodyguards.

" why do I have a bad feeling about this ? " Gina asked as she placed her hand on her chest trying to calm the crippling anxiety, astra spared her a glance for a quick moment before turning to the arena, the entire stadium like tower was packed with enough people, over the past two days, Astra's team had become quite famous, so whenever there was a fight involving the team, the stadium would be packed.

the Bird man came flying down as usual with an excited smile on his face " okay, okay, at the blue corner we have our blazing fire Alan " the crowd went wild as Alan stepped out with a appreciating smile .

the crowd managed to calm down, after a few seconds a paper flew to the referee which he caught " no let's see who your oppon— " the referee whom was smiling in anticipation suddenly had a look of terrifying horror.

' that can't be good ' Alan mentally prepared himself for the up coming shock.

the referee cleared his troat before he proceeded with the announcement " and at the red corner we have our terrifying Blue whisper " the referee finished leaving everyone frightened and paralyzed to their sits.

even Alan was rooted to his spot, as he saw the slender figure of blue coming out of the passageway holding the infamous blue clipboard and a floating blue men.

blue 6 steps away from Alan, assessing the information written on it.

" begin the referee announced "

" are you Jacob mavon ¿ " blue asked in a lazy tone.

" no " Alan mustered all his courage to will himself to be calm

" so that bastard thinks his smart then, hacking into the system for his life, I most commend he's a surviver " blue said heaving a sigh .

" well then, shall we begin " Alan asked as he took a stance, he didn't know the cultivation level of blue but he had confidence in himself.

" huh ?, sorry I don't have any business with you " blue said waving its hand. a gigantic strong wind force like a tornado blew Alan away, crashing into several pillars before he stopped, he opened his eyes to see the retreating back of blue.
