Chapter 58 : astra taking the lead

* Damn * " well you lasted longer, this should be the 23rd phone now " astra sobbed over his broken phone.

" actually the 27th phone " Gina corrected .

" yeah " he said while Dante consoled him like a good friend, knowing that the worst thing that could ever happen to a teenager was to be phone less .

" well let's get a move on, leader please continue " he said as the gigantic rock hands crumbled to the ground.

Dante and astra continued but this time, in front, while the other just stared at them " who is he " Freya asked still leaning on Callie.

" he's a handsome monster " Callie declared In a final tone .

" he's not "

" I'm bored " Dante sighed

" well not for long, up ahead " astra pointed straight at a dark tunnel, there wasn't a sound coming from the direction astra pointed, making everyone look at him as if he had gone mad.

" dude are you pulling my leg, there's nothing there " Dante said with a sour frown

" yeah, nothing is there "

# in five, four, three, two # astra counted, and just like he said something was really there, black puffs of smoke flowed out of the tunnel.

the ground vibrated at every step the creature took.

" what the hell is that ? " Freya asked as her face turned pale.

" isn't that a...a" Callie stammered a bit as the gigantic one eyed giant holding a mace casted his ugly fave on them .

" oh, its just a Cyclops " astra said in surprise and disappointment, he was in a bad mood and he needed to vent it out.

" what do you mean by oh it's just a Cyclops, that an S ranked creature " Dante wanted to slap astra so bad but he stopped himself because the man eating monster wouldn't just stand there forever.

" damn, I thought the instructors said they weren't any high grade monsters here " Daniel cursed as he saw the Cyclops ready to smash his mace on them.

everyone jumped out of the way except for astra, for some reason his head hung low and he didn't budge a bit.

" astra!!!!!!!!" Gina screamed as the mace came crashing on astra.

everyone was shocked and fear was written over everyone's face. heavy mass of dust covered the entire dungeon. Gina couldn't hold herself as she fell on the floor, tears running down her face, she couldn't believe it, she refused to believe it .

" he's dead " Callie said and covered her mouth in surprise and pain.

" it can't be " Freya mumbled while Daniel and Alan had a perplexed expression, on the other hand Dante was completely blank, he didn't show any sign of emotion as he stared at the place place.

after a few more minutes the dust had settled down completely and in the middle and unbelievable situation shined bright.

right in the middle, astra stopped the mace with only one finger, the Cyclops was very dumfounded as he stared at astra with shock.

" now I'm angry " astra said not very audible for anyone to hear, but they heard it loud and clear even the Cyclops, a look of fear appeared on it's ugly face .

astra slowly raised his head and his abnormal left multi coloured eye spined in rhythm as he punched the mace .

the mace made entirely out of steel broke like glass, while the shattered steel rained down, astra gave a simple kick at one fragment, sending it straight at the Cyclops eyes.

the steel fragment pierced the Cyclops eye, creation a huge whole were the eye supposed to be. the giant felled back like a sack of meat, blood rushing out of the hole . An S class monster was killed by a single annoyed teenager, if word gets out, it would cause havoc.

respect turned into fear, he was a pure monster in their eyes while Gina ran to him. she couldn't imaging herself without him, he had played a major role in raising her, she couldn't careless what he was or what people thought of him.

" who is he ? " Daniel was the one who spoke this time, behind that cheerful smile hides a monstrous demon.
