CHAPTER 4 : ALARIC VS DEATH

Alaric was in his chamber sulking, after he came back from the never ending ocean he received bad new ( his so called betrothed ) will arrive tomorrow, so he was currently brain storming when an idea popped up.

" I never thought about this but, nothing, no one could harm me but they never said I couldn't harm my self"

he thought, he sat down for a while before he decided to try it.

( after all the worst thing that could happen was that half of the kingdom would be disintegrated along with his so called mother, so all in all it was a win win )

with that he smiled mischievously.

but he decided to go with something internal so they couldn't guess what happen to him.

( he was the lord of cultivation so there wasn't something he couldn't do , well apart from the fact he couldn't make his mother disappear without a trace)

he lay down and closed his eyes , he fused five different element together inside his body , normally he should have controlled the amount of power he was putting into the fusion but he wanted it to explode internally so he added more power ( enough to disintegrate his entire body system and not show any signs in his physical body)

the process took about a minute before prince Alaric already pale skin became even more paled.

in astral form he looked at his body and did a victory dance , before he knew it tears were overflowing in his eyes , he was overjoyed, over 5,000 years he had being miserable but now he finally got his freedom

suddenly a knock was heard from the door but well there wasn't a leaving person to answer, so the knock got even louder till the door broke down.

" my Prince am so sorry about this, but your m____"

jade was caught shut when she sensed something was strange.

she walked to the prince , just by looking at him her face turned purple with fear. " no,no,no this ca.... can't be , h.. he couldn't ha... ve right"

she dashed out of the Prince's chamber.

( well that was anticlimactic, I guess I should wait for the light to come ) Alaric said.

in a minute everyone was in the princes chamber, his mother , a doctor and a few powerful gods

Alaric was having fun watching them trying to bring him back to life.

" you better make sure he wakes up or I will have your head for breakfast " Alaric's mother roared like an animal.

the doctor was sweating buckets while Alaric inwardly pitied the doctor cause he was defiantly going to lose his head .

after a while a black gate opened and a weird being floated out, he had no legs , the being wore a black long robe , a brown rope tied around his waist, and the being had no face

" prince Alaric, its a pleasure meeting you " the being said with a solemn expression.

" am sorry have we met before " Alaric said staring at the strange being

" I am death " the being said

" oh I guess you have come to take me to Paradise " Alaric said excited .

" not exactly, I am hear to put you back in your body "

death said emotionlessly.

Alaric's smile suddenly died down and his face became more serious.

" what do you mean " Alaric asked

" it's not your time yet " death answered

" will it ever be my time " Alaric asked almost screaming

" no" death answered.

" I don't care, I am dead so take me to Paradise " Alaric demanded.

" it doesn't work that way "

" well I am not going back to that body " Alaric said

obviously it wasn't the first time death had dealt with a stubborn soul " then I have to use force "

" bring it on "

they battled insanely ,

death threw a Punch that hit Alaric in the face , but he gave a more defying punch , they exchanged punched on till Alaric changed tactics.

he threw a loud defying slap to death that sent him backwards a bit, revealing his face.

Alaric got scared of his face and even screamed "ahhh... yeesh your hideous " Alaric said.

" that's it am done playing with you" death said as he pulled out a long black scythe .

after a while Alaric was caught by the scythe, it had imaginary power that could trap anyone soul, no matter how strong you are, you can't escape that scythe.

" now back to your body " death said trying to shove Alaric in his body but Alaric held onto his last hope ( the scythe ) with all his might.

an idea popped into his head, you can't put me back without a body now can you , Alaric thought before doing the same thing he did that killed him but only this time he did it in front of his body,

he knew the people in his chamber weren't stupid so when they saw what was happing they stepped back, within a second his body completely disintegrated.

" now , I will see were you put me now " Alaric said with a hmph.

death just looked at him like he was crazy .

suddenly a bright light shined brightly , above Alaric and death.

" well I guess it's time"

Alaric said biding farewell to death , he had no regrets.

officially Alaric won against death.
