The sun was getting hotter. Summer was upon them and it showed on Seth's body. He was getting drenched in his sweat. "Ugh. It's been two weeks since they both left and we're yet to get any update from them." Seth slumped down on the counter.
"Hey, don't go breaking things." The old man scolded Seth who flinched upon seeing the old man suddenly enter the shop.
"Grandpa! You're welcome back." Seth greeted him with a smile. Behind the old man, there was a bald man with dark shades. He wore a black shirt with long trousers.
This was one of the guards Luke had sent to the shop to secure the old man and Seth's safety. If anything was to happen on their watch, they either had to deal with it if they could or call for help if they couldn't. If things went sideways, Luke would kill them even if they had died.
