Big Daddy Xiao

Xiao Moshan, an elder from the Xiao Sect, a piece of useless trash!? To the people of the Floating Cloud City, this statement was absolutely absurd but Xiao Jiantian stated it like it was a well-known fact.

"How old are you? Over a hundred?" Xiao Jiantian scoffed. "Can't even fly yet... honestly, you're a waste of air."

"As for you..."

Xiao Jiantian appeared right behind Xiao Kaungyun, pouring his cup of wine right over his head. "Why don't you keep your eyes to yourself next time?"

BONK.

He smashed the cup into his head, temporarily dazing him.

"Y-young master... how dare you!!!"

Xiao Ba charged first, followed by Xiao Jiu (another Xiao Sect disciple) and Xiao Moshan. Xiao Jiantian's figure vanished and the two disciples ended up bumping into each other. He reappeared, grabbing their heads together and smashing them even harder. Knocked out cold, both disciples fell.

Two talented Xiao Sect disciples were just knocked out...

"..." Xiao Moshan took a deep breath. 'Who the hell is this kid!?'

"Does the Xiao Sect still want me to be a disciple?" He smirked, already knowing the answer to that.

"You've gone too far... this is not an offence that can be forgiven no matter how talented you may be!"

"I just knocked out two Spirit Profound Realm disciples with one strike and I'm barely sixteen." Xiao Jiantian shrugged. "If anything, I've proven my worth, haha."

Xiao Yunhai fainted... that's right, he fainted! It was simply too much stress for a man who was stressed enough already. Xiao Lie frowned and raised his voice before Xiao Jiantian would do anything else. "Jiantian, stop this at once... you can't fight the Xiao Sect on your own! Xiao Moshan is an Earth Profound Realm expert from the Xiao Sect-"

"Don't worry, grandfather. The Xiao Sect is but an afterthought to me." He smiled reassuringly, his azure eyes glowing with sheer confidence. "If anything, this Xiao Moshan should be kneeling at my feet."

"If Jiantian is absolutely confident, then is there a reason to doubt him?" Xiao Che stated.

"..." Xiao Moshan frowned. Where was Xiao Jiantian's confidence coming from? Was he truly that strong? Someone from the Floating Cloud City!?

"NONSENSE!"

"Allow me to help you fly, senior Moshan."

Xiao Moshan finally charging at him... Xiao Jiantian grinned and swiftly grabbed an ENTIRE table (a pretty damn long table, mind you) and SLAMMED Xiao Moshan high into the air like he was playing baseball; the table being his baseball bat and Moshan the ball.

Letting go of the table, he leapt high into the air and intercepted Xiao Moshan's trajectory.

BOOM.

BOOM.

BOOM.

Playing with him like he was a football, Xiao Jiantian kept kicking him back and forth high in the air at an insane speed. Then, once he was bored, Xiao Jiantian flew higher and slam kicked him back down into the Xiao Clan grounds.

BOOOOOOOOOM.

The mighty kick had damn near broken Xiao Moshan's spine, creating a somewhat sizeable hole in the ground. Stepping out of the hole while dragging Xiao Moshan by the hair, Xiao Jiantian was met with silence... and only silence for a good while.

Describing the events that had transpired as 'shocking' was simply an understatement. Xiao Jiantian, the Floating Cloud City's number one genius just defeated Xiao Sect's whole entourage and could fly!! A sixteen-year-old Sky Profound Realm expert... forget the Floating Cloud City, Xiao Jiantian just presented enough proof to be Blue Wind Empire's number one genius!

Little did they know... this was only the beginning.

"Report to your Xiao Clan master and tell him- you know what, I'll personally visit the Xiao Sect to save your non-flying slow ass the effort!"

He kicked Xiao Moshan high in the air, watching him crash into a distant hill.

Xiao Jiantian then turned his gaze to Xiao Kuangyun who had somewhat recovered from his earlier bonk. "So... what do I do with you?"

"Mo... Moshan..." Xiao Kuangyun couldn't believe what he was seeing. Xiao Moshan was in a little crater while Xiao Jiantian looked relatively unscathed. Even his entire table was half-broken! "Who... who are you? If I offended you... I wholeheartedly apologise!"

"What do you mean?" Confused, Xiao Jiantian frowned. "I'm the very same Xiao Jiantian who welcomed you into the Floating Cloud City! Could young master Kuangyun's memory be only a few hours long? On another note, since this deed is done, I must settle matters with the Xiao Sect myself!"

Xiao Jiantian opened his palm, creating a vacuum and dragging Xiao Kuangyun's neck into his hand.

"I want you all to await my return at this very place." Slowly ascending into the air, Xiao Jiantian looked majestic beyond belief. "Once I return, there will be a paramount announcement concerning the very future of the Floating Cloud City proceeding forwards. Until then... have faith in your young lord."

'Have faith in your young lord...'

Every resident present looked up to Xiao Jiantian like he was a god. After all, only Sky Profound Realm experts could fly... meaning that their very own home-grown genius Xiao Jiantian was actually this strong!

While everyone else looked shocked to the core, Xia Qingyue was only a little surprised. His method of defeating the Xiao Sect's visitors was... unique, to say the least.

"Young master Xiao Jiantian was concealing all this strength for so long?"

"A sixteen-year-old Sky Profound Realm expert from the Floating Cloud City... I must be dreaming. This is a dream, right? Punch me in the face... it has to be a dream!"

"Ah... that Xia Hongyi won the whole lottery to have such a divine son-in-law!"

"But, surely, offending the Xiao Sect to this degree is not a good thing?"

"Never doubt our young lord Xiao Jiantian! He asked us to believe that he can settle the score so he naturally will!"

~

Meanwhile, Xiao Jiantian released the full extent of his Wind God's Leap and teleported all the way to the Xiao Sect. He used general directions from the rather unreliable Xiao Kuangyun... of course, those were a bit useless so he had to mostly rely on his own aura sensing capabilities.

BOOM.

"If I return to the Xiao Sect in this state... it'll be embarrassing, you surely must understand. How about... we talk this out?" Xiao Kaungyun weakly offered.

"I don't care." Xiao Jiantian shoved him towards the entrance of the Xiao Sect before descending. "It's about damn time someone humbles these lowly Xiao Sect members."

"WHO BROUGHT THIS LITTLE SHIT INTO MY XIAO CLAN!?" Xiao Jiantian stomped on Xiao Kuangyun's back, his tyrannical voice resounding like thunder across the entire region.

"That's... that's young master Kuangyun! You dare tread upon the Sect Master's son!?"

"What about it?" Xiao Jiantian looked down at Xiao Kuangyun before looking ahead at the growing crowd of Xiao Sect members. "Are you going to DO something about it!?"

"FREE THE YOUNG MASTER AT ONCE!"

Several Sky Profound Realm experts charged at once, but with one wave of his hand, he cut them apart. Well... not in the way that you'd imagine. Instead of killing them... he cut their clothes off!

"...My-my clothes!!"

Absolutely embarrassed beyond belief, the elders flew right back to get some clothes back on.

"I didn't know the Xiao Sect had nudist elders." Xiao Jiantian laughed as he watched them scurry back. "What a weird place!"

Even the disciples got second-hand embarrassment for their Sky Profound Realm elders... though some did accidentally erupt in laughter. It was simply too funny to see the uptight old men shy away like little girls. More and more Sky Profound Realm elders met the very same fate until they eventually called upon the Sect Master.

After all... how could a man fight naked!?

"What is this commotion!?"

Xiao Jiantian still had one foot over Xiao Kaungyun's back, not even moving a single inch despite dozens of Sky Profound Realm experts charging him. "I, Xiao Jiantian, am simply appalled by the way the Xiao Sect acts! Did anyone bother to teach your son any manners? The very moment he stepped foot into my City, he looked upon my wife like some wild beast without a chain."

"He ignored my very polite invitation of a tour or a leisurely hunt, too, even when I approached him as a friend. THEN, even as I showed him such courtesy, this little shit ordered his lapdog disciple to attack me. Attack me! Like... I, Xiao Jiantian, have never in my whole life felt this offended!"

He sniffled, acting like he was about to cry. "All this King ever wanted was a friend..."

"..."

"We can... still be friends... right?" Xiao Kuangyun managed.

"Shut up, you dickhead!" He almost broke his spine. "My heart is already broken..."

Xiao Sect's Sect Master Xiao Juetian couldn't believe his eyes. He had heard Xiao Jiantian's initial shout of the 'Xiao Clan' and didn't think much of it, leaving the issue to his Sky Profound Realm elders. Now... he had observed the situation at hand and was simply stupefied. His aura was overwhelmingly powerful, surpassing his own Sky Profound Realm profound strength by leaps and bounds.

"Heavenly Xiao Jiantian... you are a... Throne?" Even he, Xiao Juetian, could not speak arrogantly in front of an Emperor Profound Realm practitioner. As unbelievable as the words he spoke seemed... this truth was almost undeniable!

"... Yeah, I guess." Xiao Jiantian shrugged like it wasn't a big deal. "Is that bad?"

DROP.

"Mighty genius Xiao Jiantian, I beg of you, pardon my foolish son and Xiao Sect elders for all the offensive acts they have committed!! ALL OF YOU, BOW IMMEDIATELY!" Xiao Juetian kowtowed, smashing his head against the ground... once... twice... thrice. This chain of kowtows was followed by all of the Xiao Clan members who did the very same.

'Uh...'

They kept going until Xiao Jiantian sighed. "Cease."

"Does the mighty genius Xiao Jiantian forgive my Xiao Sect?"

"I do." Xiao Jiantian smiled, putting his index finger up. "On one condition!"

"As long as it is reasonable, I wouldn't dare disagree." Xiao Juetian solemnly replied.

"I become the absolute, undeniable, owner of the Xiao Sect!" Xiao Jiantian closed his eyes, chuckling. "Call me Big Daddy Xiao, if you will!"

"Absolute ownership of the Xiao Sect...? Would the Grand Sect Master and Grand Elder accept such a thing? They're Thrones as well!" A Xiao Sect elder stated.

"Are they as young as this Throne?" Another elder countered. "I heard Xiao Clan's Xiao Jiantian was barely sixteen... even in the entire Profound Sky Continent, he might very well be the most talented of this generation! Do you know what that means!? Even the Five Great Sacred Grounds would spare no effort to recruit him!!"

"... The Five Great Sacred Grounds!?" Understanding the circumstances, the elder shut his mouth and looked at Xiao Jiantian like he was a deity.

Xiao Juetian remained on his knees, though he was uncertain. "The ownership of the Xiao Sect is not something I can grant you... this is a matter that must be discussed with the Grand Sect Master."

"Then bring him here." Xiao Jiantian replied, smirking devilishly. "We will discuss in the open with the entire Xiao Sect as witnesses!"

"..." Uncertain, Xiao Juetian didn't move. Then Xiao Jiantian's frightening gaze met his own... and it terrified him to no end. He swiftly stood up and flew to where the Grand Sect Master meditated in peace.

It was not long until the two big bosses of the Xiao Sect pulled up; Grand Sect Master Xiao Wuqing (4th Level Emperor Profound Realm) and Grand Sect Elder Xiao Wuyi (3rd Level Emperor Profound Realm). They looked down on Xiao Jiantian, floating above him while he simply stood on the ground.

"So it is true... a sixteen-year-old Throne has emerged. I can sense that your foundations are very lacklustre, however. You haven't been a Throne for long, have you?"

"What of it?" Xiao Jiantian smirked, confident as ever. "Are you two seniors going to bully this poor junior?"

"You're not too far off, young Xiao Jiantian." Xiao Wuyi smiled.

"We're going to teach you respect and place you under us." Xiao Wuqing explained. "How can you speak of ownership when you're not even the strongest in a Sect? First, defeat us and then you can have it all... until then, you'll be under my jurisdiction!"

"Oh my, you old fools really are looking down on this King... well, then. It's time that I, Xiao Jiantian, teach you two a lesson myself." Xiao Jiantian ascended to meet them in the sky. Smiling, he began to jest. "Two on one is simply unfair, though... can you bring a few hundred more Thrones?"

"... You will be humbled today, young Xiao Jiantian!" Xiao Wuyi and Xiao Wuqing charged at once, displaying their ability to work together.

...

No matter how hard they tried, neither of them could land a blow on him... let alone draw blood! Meanwhile, Xiao Jiantian was pacing across the air like he was having fun. "Come on, you guys can surely do better than that!"

Xiao Jiantian withdrew a large bamboo stick he had refined himself from a storage ring. "Unless... that's the best you can do?"

Xiao Wuqing and Xiao Wuyi looked at each other before turning back to him. "What kind of monster... are you?"

"I'm not a monster... it's ill-mannered to call someone that, you know. I see that the Xiao Clan's top experts need to be taught some courtesy!" He blitzed Xiao Wuqing, slapping his head down all the way into the ground.

'Mighty Heavenly Sword Art (Wind Branch, Lesser 5th Style): One Peerless Imitation'

A near-exact copy of Xiao Jiantian appeared to deal with Xiao Wuyi, slapping him to the ground too. He descended to Xiao Wuqing and started to smack his back with the bamboo stick, one strike at a time.

Meanwhile, his clone did the same to Xiao Wuyi.

"My foundations are very lacklustre you said..."

Boom.

"What if I told you..."

Boom.

"You saw..."

Boom.

"Precisely what I wanted you to..."

Boom.

"See!"

"St... stop." Xiao Wuqing managed, his entire back beaten red. "Forgive us for our... insolent behaviour..."

BOOM.

Xiao Jiantian smashed the bamboo stick into Xiao Wuqing, almost breaking his whole back.

"Do you know how to treat your seniors with respect now!?"

"Ye... yes. I... do."

"LOUDER." Xiao Jiantian commanded, his booming voice resounding across the entire Xiao Sect.

"I know how to treat my seniors with respect!!" Xiao Wuqing shouted with all of his strength.

"You two, get up from the ground and bow beneath me."

Xiao Jiantian looked down on them both as they followed his orders. "From henceforth, I, Xiao Jiantian, am the Big Daddy of the Xiao Sect... do you all understand what this implies!?"

"Yes... yes... you own the Xiao Sect now!" Xiao Wuqing nodded.

"Good, good. Now say that again but follow it up with my brand new title!" Xiao Jiantian grinned, looking to embarrass them further.

"And say it out loud... so loud that the entire Xiao Sect can hear you! If you two disappoint me, I'll cripple both of you right here so it'd best be louder than thunder!"

"You own the Xiao Sect now, Big Daddy Xiao Jiantian!!!" Xiao Wuqing shouted and fell back down to silence... completely embarrassed and without a shred of dignity.

"You own the Xiao Sect now, Big Daddy Xiao Jiantian!!" Xiao Wuyi followed when Xiao Jiantian's gaze turned to him.

"Good, I'm very pleased. You two along are to come with me and explain the current situation to the Xiao Clan. We want to avoid any confusion, isn't that right?"

"Of course, Xiao Jiantian!"

His gaze remained on Xiao Wuqing who then corrected himself. "Of course, Big Daddy Xiao!!"

"Good, let us be on our way then. Xiao Sect Master, I'll leave the Xiao Sect to you for now."

Xiao Juetian solemnly nodded. "As you wish, Big Daddy Xiao."

Once Xiao Jiantian grabbed them both and teleported away, the Xiao Sect was completely silent. The beating and submission they had witnessed their strongest leaders go through... it was unbelievable. Now, a mere junior stood over two elderly Thrones of the Xiao Sect and even made them address him as 'Big Daddy Xiao'... the title in of itself was embarrassing to others but Xiao Jiantian owned it.

~

All three Thrones descended upon the Xiao Clan grounds where Xiao Kuangyun was going to initially choose someone who'd ascend to the Xiao Sect. Now... well, it was a whole different matter. Upon their appearance, the crowd swiftly returned.

"I can't believe this is happening..." Xiao Wuyi chuckled depressingly, essentially laughing at his own helplessness.

"Xiao Jiantian has gained complete ownership of the Xiao Sect by besting myself, who is the Grand Sect Master of the Xiao Sect, and my brother in a fight." Xiao Wuqing stated with a concealed tone of embarrassment. "From henceforth, he will rule over the Xiao Sect in any way he sees fit and hold the title... 'Big Daddy Xiao'."

"..." Xia Qingyue chuckled as she looked up at Xiao Jiantian. "Interesting title."

Most of the crowd remained relatively silent, heeding the speech that was to come carefully.

"People of the Xiao Clan and Floating Cloud City, hear this King's glorious speech!" Xiao Jiantian addressed the crowd, his eyes scanning across them.

"Today will be a monumental day for our little town because I, Xiao Jiantian, have revealed my true strength. No longer will we have to bow our heads before every person that passes by. No longer will we be a forgotten corner of the Blue Wind Empire. No longer will we be a weak, desolate region without purpose... no, never again!!"

"Under my leadership, the Xiao Clan along with the Floating Cloud City, will blossom into the VERY MOST SACRED CORNER IN THE WORLD!!"

The crowd cheered, seemingly in love with his charisma and sweet, thunderous, words. Even Xia Qingyue blushed a little when she realised that the man in the air was her very own husband. 'So this is the true Jiantian... the one who ruled the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region.'

~

"Moshan... you good?" Xiao Jiantian approached the recovering elder man after his grand speech. "Haha, I'm a bit sorry for humiliating you like that."

"... No, there's no need to apologise. I was in the wrong for even bringing up the thought of disciplining someone far stronger than me."

"Here, take this pellet. It should help with your injuries." Xiao Jiantian threw it in his direction and turned around.

"For someone so overbearing, I didn't think that you could be kind..."

"I... I'm a young man with alter egos, you could say..." He chuckled. "Anyway, it wouldn't be smart to have my own sect members to resent me, now would it?"

"It seems that you've been hiding your strength along with your maturity." Xiao Moshan smiled as he swallowed the pellet. "This... pellet... is great!!"

"See you around, Moshan."

'Alter egos... do I truly have those?'

The appearance of a plague doctor who lives for amusement (Trickster), a cheerful man in white robes who wouldn't kill a fly (Saint), an overbearing warrior with countless weapons who looks down on the universe (Tyrant) and a charismatic business-man-like ruler (King) came to mind. All of these four main 'alter egos' had developed throughout his countless reincarnations and grew to the point where he could act like a completely different person at times... making him highly unpredictable.

The Saint, emerged from his Master's teachings and his own beliefs.

The King, emerged from his desire to create something truly great that would last forever.

The Tyrant, emerged from countless reincarnations of being a peak expert.

The Trickster, emerged from his endless boredom and a counter to the wicked nature of the cultivation world.

...

He looked up into the night sky, sitting on a hill all alone. 'Mei... I found another wife. You're not mad at me, are you?'

He wondered...

'She's still a bit cold but that makes teasing her all the more fun. Her talent, too, is something that even I admire.' He sighed, his facial expression one of sadness as he thought of his first wife.

'I... might've forgotten your warm touch, figure, face and angelic aura... but I'll never forget what you meant to me. You'll always be close to my heart, no matter how many more lives I live through... Jun Mei...'

'But, I have to move on from the past eventually.' He stood up and turned to face the Floating Cloud City. Looking from the hill's view, it was truly a sight to behold. So small yet it meant something to him, a man who had ruled countless worlds.

'Tao... you were my closest friend. Together, we changed your father's sect into something truly great. A safe haven for all hard-working, honest, cultivators, be they strong or weak, rich or poor. Out of every young master, you were the most understanding... till this day, I've never been able to find a greater friend.' He reminisced his days as a member of the Divine Sword Sect.

'Through this little and insignificant Floating Cloud City, I'll carry on my... our vision.'

His azure eyes glowed with the passion of an ambitious yet benevolent Emperor as he imagined Floating Cloud City becoming a true Sacred Ground.
