Reincarnating Into The World of Pokémon

I remember the time when I was and watched the first initial episodes of Pokémon as a kid.

I didn't really understand much besides liking the theme song.

I even had some of the cards from back in the day as to how I received them, I can't quite remember.

What I do remember was that Pokémon were mostly gentle, and even if a Pokémon attacked you the characters in the show would be slightly hurt.

Even though those attacks could most probably destroy a building or wall but as a kid there wasn't much to think about.

Overtime I my love for Pokémon distanced itself and my interest was attracted to other things.

But one day I was watching short videos when I came across a video dissecting a starter Pokémon, which raised this question to my mind.

'Do people in the Pokémon world eat Pokémon?' It would make sense as there were no other animals but Pokémon.

That video somehow rekindled my love for Pokémon as I searched how many generations have been released, to my shock I realized the Pokémon count reached over a thousand Pokémon. 

So I bought the recommended game from my friends and played Legends of Arceus and Scarlett.

Imagining a world where I could step into a forest and be greeted with the multitudes of Pokémon just enjoying life would be great.

Being reincarnated into a world of Pokémon like that I would accept the offer any time.

That would be the case if it wasn't for the being in front of me describing the world of Pokémon I would be reincarnated into.

"So let me get this straight," I said with frustration as I looked at the glowing entity in front of me, "You killed me just so you could reincarnate me into this parallel world of Pokémon."

"Yes that is correct," responded the entity

"You did it for your amusement"

"Correct"

"Because of this parallel world I am the seventh person you're reincarnating into this world,"

"Correct"

"All because the previous reincarnated people died way before you could enjoy yourself"

"Correct"

"Do you mind explaining that a bit more? You kinda glossed over that a bit."

"Very well, I created this parallel world of Pokémon trying to be as realistic as possible, such as Pokémon needing food so they would eat other Pokémon or humans if applicable. 

Legendary Pokémon or Demi-Gods as we gods would call them are in charge of just maintaining that world's balance, I made it where they wielded immense power respectable to their position.

Pokémon can die, that's a given.

Since Pokémon wielded immense power I had to personally cultivate humanity till they reach a suitable level that allowed them to not die out to the Pokémon.

Once I had my world finished I took the most knowledgeable guy from your world and sent him to the world of Pokémon after he chose his wishes, however in less than a year of starting his journey he died.

So I sent his rival from your world into the Pokémon world hoping he would do better, which he did by surviving one week more than his rival.

So I thought and said okay if the best could not survive and bring enjoyment to me then what about the worst?

To which I sent three of such people with the longest living until she married and died of old age which was BORING. 

She didn't even go on a journey she had a Mudkip, who I guided to her to spark an interest in journeying. 

The Mudkip even had the third highest talent and it was still Mudkip when she died.

And the sixth person was the person who received the most attention from me than the others, besides his three wishes, information on the world, giving him a good starter and a good family with reputation. 

He still managed to die in three years as he got too greedy and took a Metagross' egg in the wild which resulted in him being hunted by the Metagross as he took the leader's egg."

"All this information sounds like I should just not go on a journey." I responded after listening to that information.

The entity simply kept quiet at my words before sighing, "I decided to try one more time, after this I'm off to make another parallel world this time about YuGiOh. 

You know what, I'll simply send you to the world, so even if you don't go on a journey or do anything extravagant I won't erase this world, instead I'll just start making the YuGiOh world ahead of time.

Now quickly tell me your wishes."

" I want the Pet store ability from that one Chinese novel, then I want the Identify ability from the battlefield manhwa, and a map with a search function."

"Very well the abilities have been adjusted to suit the Pokémon world. With those abilities that you wished for I can generally guess what your story will be so off you go I got a world to create."
