Ceremony

As Lin Fan was enjoying the wind on his balcony someone called him.

"Young master get ready the testing ceremony is going to start. Master is waiting for you" Lin Fan's butler said.

"Wait a moment" Lin Fan said.

After saying that Lin Fan got ready wearing a black and white robe with black pants and shoes that cultivators wear.

"Good morning yen" Lin Fan said to his butler.

"Good morning young master. madam and sir are waiting for you" Yen who is Lin Fan's butler said.

"Let's go" Lin Fan said.

* a few minutes later *

"Mom dad good morning" Lin Fan said.

"Good morning Lin. are you ready?" Ju said.

"Yes I'm ready" Lin Fan said.

"Hey don't forget about me" Yang said.

"How could I forget about you your my dad?" Lin Fan asked.

"Yeah how could you forget your father?" Yang asked.

"Forget about that it's time for the testing ceremony" Ju said.

"Come on Lin hop on my back" Yang said.

"But dad I'm to old for that" Lin Fan said.

"Let's just go" Ju said.

* After a few minutes *

"Mom where are grandpa and grandma?" Lin Fan asked.

"They will arrive when the ceremony is about to start" Ju said.

After a few minutes the family arrived to the city center and saw that different people were waiting for the ceremony to start.

"Mom can I walk for a bit?" Lin Fan asked.

"Just don't get in trouble and get lost okay" Ju said.

"Okay" Lin Fan said.

"Just in case here's a dagger" Yang said.

"Thank you dad" Lin Fan said.

"Be careful okay" Ju said.

After talking with his parents he walked around the city square. after walking for a bit he saw someone getting bullied in a alley.

"Hey why are you bullying her?" Lin Fan asked.

"It's not your problem so why are you protecting her?" bully 1 asked.

"It's wrong behavior to bully someone" Lin Fan said.

"What the heck are you saying" bully 2 asked.

"Let's just bully him too" bully 3 said.

"Yeah that's a great idea" bully 1 said.

After saying that the three of them surrounded Lin Fan ready to attack him.

"Come on fight me" Lin Fan said.

After taunting the bullies the three of them attacked Lin Fan with punches.

"Haaah take this" bully 1 said while launching a punch.

After the punch was close to Lin Fan the bully thought that his punch would land but instead Lin Fan caught the punch mid air.

"Let go" the bully said.

Lin Fan did not hear the bully's plea and twisted the bully's arm which caused the bully to cry.

"Let go it hurts" the bully begged to Lin Fan.

After seeing what Lin Fan has done to their friend they then started launching punches at Lin Fan.

But Lin Fan dodged their punches and kicked one in the face which knocked him out. Before the last bully could react Lin Fan kneed the bully on the chest which caused the bully to spit blood and had his eyes rolled back.

After finishing of the last bully he approached the first bully. while approaching the bully the bully begged to be spared.

"Don't come near me please don't do it" the bully begged.

Before the bully could continue to beg Lin Fan killed the bullies nut sack which caused the bully to clutch his balls and got knocked out.

"Are you ok?" Lin Fan asked.

"I'm fine thank you" the person said.

"Why are they bullying you?" Lin Fan asked.

"...."

"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it" Lin Fan said.

"Thank you" the person said.

"So what's your name?" Lin Fan asked.

"My name is chu hua" Chu said.

"Well my name is Lin Fan" Lin Fan said.

"Do you want to be friends?" Lin Fan asked.

"Why you'll get bullied too?" Chu asked.

"Don't worry about that I'm strong enough to defend my self what matters is do you want to be my friend" Lin Fan said.

"If you're okay with it then yes" Chu said.

"Yeah my first friend" Lin Fan said.

After hearing Lin Fan's excitement Chu smiled sweetly.

After a few minutes they left the alley to go back to the city center.

"Mom dad I'm back" Lin Fan said.

"Come here the ceremony is about to begin" Ju said.

"Oh who's that?" Yang asked while pointing at Chu.

"She's Chu I saved her from her bullies" Lin Fan said.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Ju said teasing Lin Fan.

"What were to young to be that mom she's just a friend" Lin Fan said while pouting.

"Hello dear are you ok?" Ju asked Chu totally ignoring Lin Fan.

"I'm fine after Lin saved me" Chu said.

"Mom why are you ignoring me" Lin Fan said.

"Lin how are you?" Fen Lin fan's grandmother said.

"I'm fine thank you grandma Fen" Lin Fan said.

"Ohh how polite" Fen said.

"Lin how is your training going?" Zheng who is Lin Fan's grandfather said.

"It's doing great a little more and I can perfect it" Lin Fan said.

"Lin how is life?" Cheng who is Lin Fan's other grandfather.

"Great made a new friend and still getting stronger" Lin Fan said.

"Ohh who is your new friend" Daiyu who is Lin Fan's other grandmother said.

"She's there talking with mother" Lin Fan said.

"She's a girl huh" Zheng said.

"She's not my girlfriend okay" Lin Fan said.

"Well it looks like it on how you reacted" Cheng said.

"What's her name" Fen said.

"Chu" Lin Fan said.

While they were talking a person riding a sword landed in the middle of the city center.

"Look the ceremony is about to start" Ju said.

"Good luck make us proud" Yang said.

"Just know even if you're average we'll still be there for you" Ju said.

"Thanks mom" Lin Fan said.

"You have our support too" Zheng said.

"Thank you" Lin Fan said.

"Oh take Chu too" Ju said.

"Come let's take the test together" Lin Fan said while dragging Chu to the ceremony.

"There a match together" Fen said.

"I'm not gonna restrict my son on who is he going to marry it's his own choice" Yang said.
