I'm not the one to usually start a fight, especially a pointless one, but I won't think twice about defending myself, no matter anymore how it all began as instinct of self preservation takes over and even if the attack is not aimed at me I protect Ethan on the same way I would with myself, direct and without hesitation.
So once her whip slash out in the air, the rubber hard leather material promising a painful hit, I quickly form my own Wind Whip with my fan and exchanged blows with her mid-air, at first taking her by surprise by answering her hit but soon a quick succession of attacks fly one after the other at the speed that only the afterimage is visible to the normal eye.
She growls, frustration growing by the second, her already impatient stubborn nature boiling up further with every unsuccessful hit, and once she had enough she finally turns her attacks to me.
Which is a big mistake.
