I was so scared I lost all my progress when I couldn't find where I left off last night but luckily I was able to i would've cried if I didn't

Weiss pov:
My family has a unique semblance that allows us to do virtually anything as long as it's within reason like changing gravity, ice, fire, blocking attacks, and more as long as it's not something outrageous like Gilgamesh's Ea.
Today, I want to play around with my semblance and see the limits of my glyphs, starting with how small I can make a glyph. I made the hand signs and summoned a basic glyph then I attempted to shrink it as much as I could. As I shrank it I realized that I couldn't see the glyph anymore, but I could still feel its presence.
Unsummoning the glyph, I started to experiment with making the glyph as large as possible. I kept enlarging it until it filled up the entire room, but I stopped there, not wanting to push outside my room. I realized that there are no limits to the size limit of my glyphs.
Based on my previous training, I know I can summon an elemental glyph in about five seconds, which is fast, but not reliable during battle where every second counts so I need to improve that. I also need myrtenaster to be able to make the elemental glyphs so that's another drawback.
After playing with my glyphs for a while I decided to move on to the fun part- creating new glyphs that my family hasn't been able to do yet. A glyph I have in mind is a healing glyph as it would be particularly useful during missions, especially in cases where immediate assistance is needed.
However, my glyph isn't magic so I can't just heal wounds from nowhere what I plan to do is have the glyph speed up the body's natural healing abilities. To do that I need to first understand the anatomy of the human body to avoid making things worse.
Because of my past life, I have some basic knowledge of the human body. I would spend a lot of time drawing and watching videos that recommended knowing the human anatomy to be able to have everything appear in its proper place. So, thanks to being artsy that knowledge is going to be useful in developing the healing glyph.
I started to refer to Jess as my past life because it didn't feel right to refer to her as a separate entity but at the same time, I don't feel like I'm the same as when I was her. Although she didn't show it, she was in a bad mental state with little will to live but now I don't feel like that.
I have more I want to do, people I want to meet, and more of a will to persevere through what's to come to be able to see my sun in person. But I can still feel the pain and sadness I endured alone waiting to come out when I'm at my lowest like a lion waiting for its prey.
"Ahh, I can't start thinking about it that's a can of worms I do not want to let out" I mutter to myself, shaking my head.
Regardless, it's only a matter of time before I learn what I need. But for now, I'll focus on creating a basic healing glyph. To do so, I begin by testing it on a small cut on my finger. I imagine increasing the healing process, imagining my body's blood vessels in the affected area narrowing to limit blood loss, and blood clotting to stop the bleeding. I also imagine my white blood cells moving to the affected area to prevent infection and remove any debris or dead tissue.
The process causes me to feel a bit of warmth and pain, but after a few moments, the wound begins to rebuild and repair itself. It's a small accomplishment, but a significant one. Creating a brand-new glyph that hasn't been possible before feels incredible, and I'm excited to see what else I can do in the future.
I tried it a few more times trying it on different nonimportant areas to just get a good grasp on how it feels when I'm making the glyph and its process. The glyph is slow to form and takes a long time for it to be combat effective but I'm sure that I can reduce the time it takes to form it with practice.
Hmmm," I hummed aloud as an idea sparked in my mind. What if I experimented with inactive glyphs? They might seem pointless at first glance, but could they be used to set traps or in other ways?
I make a basic glyph but try to make it so that it doesn't do anything then make it act like a barrier but after activating it, it just disappeared.
I summoned a basic glyph, intending for it to remain dormant, then willed it to act as a barrier. However, upon activation, it simply dissipated. "Interesting," I mused to myself. "What if I program it to remain inactive until infused with aura, then have it activate as a barrier?"
With that in mind, I make a glyph with those requirements leaving it inactive for a bit before supplying it with some of my aura. Unlike last time it didn't disappear but instead became a barrier glyph like I intended it to be.
"Yes! It worked I'm two for two" I celebrate a little. 'Alright let's see how long I can keep an inactive glyph going' I thought before making an inactive glyph and staring at it,
After a while it appeared to not disappear anytime soon 'Other than the initial creation of the glyph it doesn't sap away at my aura' I thought to myself. That can be useful let's try to make traps.
** 2 hours later **
After hours of trying to make traps, I couldn't well not the ones I wanted to. I could preset a shield to a spot so that I could block upon reaching that spot which would be useless to me since I can just make one but it could be helpful when working with teammates.
I originally wanted to make elemental traps, but it was a failure for now. Let's just say that I did not have a good experience with these stupid traps.
*Flashback*
"Alright, let's try this again. If I insert the dust into the glyph like this, the-*boom," Weiss was abruptly cut off by an explosion that left her face covered in soot.
"Okay, note to self: less is more," she muttered, as another small explosion went off, leaving her hair slightly singed.
"ahhh, you stupid traps" Weiss exclaimed, frustration evident in her voice as she felt the failure of her experiment on her face.
*Flashback ending*
I know that mastering my semblance will take time, and I'm willing to put in the effort.
One thing I noticed though is that my aura is denser than before so I can make my attacks stronger than I would ever be able to. I make a mental note to focus training on healing glyphs and elemental glyphs as I feel those will benefit me a lot in the future.
As I'm about to lie down, I realize that I still need to create a defense glyph to protect myself. I have support glyphs like my healing and speed boost glyphs, and attack glyphs like my elemental glyphs, but I don't have a defensive glyph.
I think for a moment before I remember Gojo Satoru's infinity, but I can't create a barrier like Gojo's brain is literally always decaying and I appreciate my life right now and I can't have it on all the time anyway, then I remember another character that I have a chance to replicate even if it's not as strong as his it will be useful.
