"So... I'm something like you?" Kei approached Rory, who was sitting in the small hallway leading to the inn's courtyard.

She took a sip of alcohol and came back to herself " the moment I leave my body and become a goddess, I will be able to take any form" she smiled delicately "but in return, I will lose carnal desires and pleasures"

"Well, if that's the case I don't want to become a god" kei looked straight into rory's eyes.

What rory described sounded terribly boring, spiritual form? Being able to have any appearance you want but not being able to do anything with it sounded so sad.

A light giggle escaped from rory "you know, I at one point came to think the same thing, but eventually I came to accept my fate" rory looked so melancholy that unconsciously, kei pulled rory into a hug.

*nod* she just nodded and though surprised by the sudden hug, she just settled into the embrace.

"Can you do it?" Her voice sounded nervous.

"Sure" kei answered immediately "do you want me to do it now?"

"Please" if rory had to be honest, she didn't want to be immortal like that, after all, she doesn't want to become like those old hermits who don't come out of their spiritual form in temples, and even though they have a way to show themselves physically they don't, after all, what's the point of doing it if they can't do anything fun.

Technically they would become spectators with a physical form, touch, smell, pleasure are of the things they can vaguely feel in their spiritual forms and to put a cherry on top of the cake, when they changed to a physical form the restrictions would become stronger, so whats the point?

Kei slowly placed his hand on Rory's forehead with the skill active.

Commotion was heard for a moment and then you could see out the window of the room as the lights suddenly came on.

"Why don't we blow off some steam?" Kei asked rory who already had her halberd in her hand.

"I thought you wouldn't ask!" Rory's excited voice echoed through the room, causing some of the girls to slowly wake up.

" Alright, let's go!"

Kei had quickly approached the door of the room, which led to the backyard, and he suddenly opened the door.

*clap* *clap*

"Can I get everyone's attention?" Kei clapped a few times, which made everyone turn in his direction.

*cof cof* he cleared his throat "well, even though many of you already know me, I will still introduce myself" a smile spread across kei's face "I will be your host on this beautiful night, my name is kei kirasaki and the lady accompanying me on this beautiful night is Rory mercury" kei said, but at the mention of rory he took her hand and they both gave a small bow.

"So with that being said...I hope you guys have a great time."

By the time kei finished his sentence, Rory was already twirling his halberd as she jumped in the direction of all the soldiers outside.

Confused, the soldiers had no choice but to open fire, as they watched one of their comrades being decapitated and cut up like butter.

While kei engaged the other group in hand-to-hand combat... well, after all, the bullets only bounced off when they made contact with his skin.

But before they started, kei just looked at them for a moment and then he looked at his hand, closing and opening his hand a few times, he ended up forming a fist. And he immediately took a step with all his strength.
