Chapter 1: Prologue

The feeling of being dead while being alive is the worst, I used to hate that, but it doesn't matter anymore. Am I really going to die here?

I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Cameron Vail, and my life as a salary man was over when my girlfriend cheated on me. I worked so hard for her to have a happy life but she slept with my boss and I got fired when I found about them. Damn gold digger. But it does not matter because I got hit by truck-sama and I'm going to die.

Where was I? Oh yeah, I'm going to die as a virgin, even though I had a girlfriend. Sigh.

"Master Candidate Identified, what are your requests Master?"

'I never thought that I would hear cute voice heard in animes I shouldn't have watched so many. I'm gonna die anyway, well here goes nothing.......'

'Request confirmed, it will take a few minutes to find a universe with is fulfilled'

I lost consciousness before requesting anything. I felt like I was going deep into the ocean. Then I heard another voice.

"Welcome Master, I was selected to be your helper as per your request"

'WTF is happening, was the voice I heard real, but I didn't request anything'

"Ok, so who are you?"

"I am the HERO SYSTEM, but you can just call me system. I am surprised that to hear that you first question was about me. Do you have any more questions master."

'There are a lot of questions but if I am right I can ask them later. Now I will ask few more question.'

"Yes I have few more questions. The first one is, what can you do?"

"There are a lot of things I can do I can't say them right now, master will have to upgrade me in order to unlock some of my abilities. May I know the second question, master?"

"Do you have a form?" 'I wonder what the system would look like'

"Currently I do not have a form but after upgrading a few times, master will be able to customize my form."

'I was looking forward to a sexy form but I will be able to customize the form later'

"I have one more question, can you change into informal speech? I'm not comfortable"

"Yes I certainly can, I you don't have anymore questions I would like to explain this world and your powers."
