A little later that same day, Natsume got a half-empty look on his face as he listened to almost every class, all he was thinking about was Nyx's sweet, juicy lips.

But before he came to school, Natsume the zombie dungeon in record time, and guess who acquired two new skills, healing potions, and had money so he didn't end up spending it on that naughty cat?

The first skill was . . .

He could do amazing things with [ Illusions ], like using his dragon form without being inside the dungeon and using the illusion to trick people's senses so they see only the scenery and not him.

Sighing, he had nothing to do inside, 'How I want to escape from here.' Natsume thought rather depressed.

His current status was quite strong for a level 20.

Since there was nothing else Natsume could do there, he said goodbye to Sasada, Nishimura, and Kitamoto and headed home.

After changing and picking up some lighter clothes, Natsume set off in the direction of the Dew God with Nyx in her cat form on top of his head and Nyanko-sensei.

Walking that way, he could hear Nyanko-sensei who was speaking, "The Dew Deity lives in the "Seven Forests" just ahead."

Natsume who was holding a small mirror in his hand asked, "Well, I only brought this because you asked, but what is it for? ''

"'It's a precaution. Keep it.'' Nyanko-Sensei replied.

Storing the mirror in his shirt pocket, Natsume continued walking until an elderly lady passing by her tripped and dropped a peach that rolled toward her.

Crouching down to pick up the peach, the old lady said, "Oh, thank you."

"It was nothing." Natsume replied and then continued, "Here you go." And she held out her hand with the peach.

"Thank you for your kindness. If it didn't spoil, please keep it.'' Said the lady and added, "I can't eat it all by myself."

"Thank you, then I will keep it." Natsume thanked her.

The smiling lady nodded to him and said as she looked up at the sky with few clouds, 'The weather is great today, isn't it?

"Yes, it's very nice.'' Natsume replied while also looking up at the sky.

One of the wishes of the previous owner of this body was to be more sociable with the people around him, he was not very eloquent in certain situations.

"So, excuse me.'' Said the lady in her friendly tone as she said goodbye to Natsume.

"Hm, take care." said Natsume.

Turning back, he heard Nyanko-sensei speaking, ''That lady doesn't have much time.'' He continued, ''She didn't smell very good.

"Don't be rude, sensei." Scolded Natsume as he began to think, 'How can he smell that, even with my enhanced sense of smell, the only thing I could smell from her was the smell of orchids, or maybe it's some kind of ability of his?'

Walking again, they quickly reached their destination, a small shrine was in front of them.

''Is the Dew God really a deity? Or is it just a name?'' Natsume asked, curiously.

"Why the curiosity?'' Nyanko-sensei asked.

''Just curiosity.'' Answered Natsume briefly.

''Oh, Oh! You've come, Natsume-dono!'' Came a voice from the shrine. ''Oh? Has something happened?''

"He's just scared to think that you are a real God." Nyanko-sensei replied.

"Scared? No, just curious.'' Natsume said.

"No, no. I am called a god, ... but, I'm just a wandering being who settled in this little shrine, maybe, you wanted to hear the story from the beginning...'". said the Dew God.

"Yes, please." Natsume said it would be rude of him to reject it while another part of him was curious.

"A long time ago, there was a great drought in this area. Distressed by the disaster, the young villagers prayed at this small shrine, and the next day, it rained."

"Since then, the villagers worship the God of Dew, ... and leave many offerings."

''And before I knew it, I was overflowing with power, ... and my form had become just as great."

''Big, isn't it?'' { Natsume }

"The last time I saw you, you were as big as a human." Nyanko-sensei said.

"Yes, now, I can barely get past their feet. And as my body has grown because of people's faith in me, I have shrunk in size because of the lack of it." Answered the God of Dew sadly.
