Chapter 31 S2: Academy Life I

After returning from the magic tower that day, I continued on my way straight back to the main palace. The silent night came when I've finally reach to the main palace. Unfortunately, my love was asleep when I walked in our room. I stare at her angelic sleeping face for a while.

'I guess that upcoming Christmas this time will be a lot different...' I thought in my mind, my hand caressing Violet's golden yellow hair gently.

I then put my Claymore sword, Olympus next to my bed and lay down quietly next to Violet so as not to wake her up. I covered both of our bodies with a warm blanket and eventually closed my eyes slowly after the tiring day.

~I'm grateful for where I'm at, excited about where I'm going~

Slowly opening my fresh golden yellow eyes so early in the morning... from my point of view, I could clearly see a woman's delicate back which is my darling sleeping soundly right now. The straps of her white nightgown slipped from her small shoulders. Putting back those straps back to its suppose place... I rubbed my eyes and snuggled my head into Violet's neck to wake her up.

"Darling... please wake up... I miss talking to you... why don't we take a shower together..." I whispered in her ear with my hoarse morning voice.

"Ehmm... baby... that's a nice way to start a day huh...?" Violet said as her eyes light violet eyes meet with my golden yellow eyes.

Approaching her rosy lips, I gave her a good morning kiss slowly and passionately.

"Ehm... b-baby..." She moaned in between our passionate kisses.

My hands began to make itself a way under Violet's white sleep gown, not until a knock was heard on our bedroom door...

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Pardon my rudeness Princess Violet... I have a message from The Demon Lord Alazuir O Zinir to convey." A woman's voice was heard behind that door.

"It's okay dear... let me go to the door for a moment. You can wait here for a while..." I said to Violet then gave her a peck on the forehead.

Going out of the bed... I took my white bathrobe then opened the door a little enough for me to see a female knight from my division holding a scroll of paper.

"Yes... what is it you have to convey." I said to the female knight in monotone.

"E-eh Captain Freya...? *ehem... nevermind... Lord Alazuir O zinir has asked Princess Violet and Captain Freya to have a breakfast together in the dining hall this morning." Said the female knight in a clear tone despite being surprised to see me opening the door instead of Princess Violet.

"Alright-" Before I could finish my words, I felt a soft hand grab my abs gently from behind my bathrobe.

"Tell my father that we will come there in a moment..." Violet said to the female knight with her innocent smile.

'Woah... this is not fair...' I thought in my mind as I tried to keep a straight face in front of the female knight.

"Alright Princess Violet... Then, I'll excuse myself..." Said the female knight looking clueless about the situation in front of her right now, she then bowed her head before walking away.

Then, I quickly closed the door and held Violet to the door gently and lifted one of her legs while pressed my body against her a little.

"Ahh... S-stop it dear... we-we have to go now... my father is waiting..." Violet moan as she hit my shoulder softly.

"*Sigh Fine... I'll just save the best for last then..." I tease Violet as I tap her perfect nose bridge gently.

"Whatever..." Violet replied as she rolled her eyes and escape from me while headed toward the bathroom quickly.

As we showered together, I tried my best to hold back when this bewitching creature is showering with me. Exiting the bathroom, I helped Violet put on her yellow and white knee-length casual dress which complimented her golden yellow hair. Today, I'll have to wear my black knight's suit armor because there is an integrated sword training to be conducted with the knight under my care.

I followed Violet from behind as we walked... when we finally arrived in front of the dining hall door. A male knight guarding the big door announced our presence and soon after, heard the voice of Lord Alazuir who gladly allowed us to enter. The big door opened and Lord Alazuir was seen smiling as he sat behind the long dining table waiting for us.

"Greeting to The Demon Lord, Lord Alazuir..." I said as I bowed my head in respect.

"Good morning dad..." Violet said as she bowed to Lord Alazuir with a sweet smile.

"Good morning my dear daughter and my knight... Please help yourselves and have a sit. We must eat first before all this food gets cold." Said Lord Alazuir as he pointed to the chicken soup and porridge that was laid out on the table.

After we sat down, we ate in a soothing breeze and calm morning atmosphere. As we help ourselves, we also chatted a bit and Lord Alazuir also asked me about things that are related to the neighboring kingdom who want to stay here for a few days.

"*ehem... well actually, I have something quite interesting to share with you two." Said lord Alazuir with a smile planted on his face.

"Please do tell us dad..." Said Violet with eyes beaming while looking at her dad.

"Actually, my friend, Mr Jonathan, the principal from The Royal Academy offered you two to get an experience studying there... since you have never been to an academy before... I gladly suggest you to take this once in a lifetime oppotunity and agree to enter this academy. I don't have to worry much about my daughter safelty since my best knight will always feel on her side..." Lord Alazuir said while clearly explaining everything one by one.

Violet seemed to be speechless for a moment until she came to her senses and went to hug Lord Alazuir then said that she completely agreed with this proposal.

"I'm fine with anything you're fine with..." I said to them both as they turned their heads towards me waiting for my answer.

After we finish eating, Violet had to go to her violin and piano class so we parted ways. Since I still had time before going to the training ground, I decided to go to the library room to find out more about that Royal Academy...
