Chapter 13: Slavery III

Another tiring day has finally arrived. Before the sunlight had time to wake us from the window, we had already left the inn and heading to the main palace.

The young lady I saved last night was also brought to the main palace but secretly and placed in another building with Lord Alazuir's permission.There she will be taking care by maid and butler to the fullest.

As soon as we arrived each group leader and I apart ourselves changed into our suitable clothes for training. As For me, I just wear a simple plain black crop top and not too fit black pants so I can move my body comfortably. It's not like I have other choice clothes in this previous Freya's closet...

Going there, I wore my black and gold knight jacket so as not to attract too much unnecessary attention on my abs. I finally arrived... I was proud to see the disciplined that are shown from all the knight under my care gave. All of them was ready to wait for my orders by lining up, stand back straight and not making any fuss.

I instructed each of them to go to their group leader by name list that I gave and before starting sword practice we warmed up our body and run around the field twelve times. After running I train them using previous Freya momories of sword fighting.

I teach them to practise using technique called the Rizzo technique. For everyone information,sword fighting won't really help building muscle like strength training does but it will help you to consistently build lean muscle mass over time, and is a great option for cardio, especially for people like us who is rushing to strengthen our body. We train like that for about 7-8 hours before taking a brief break.

After resting for a while, I made a sword sparring competition between me and other knights. This sparring is where the leaders and knights can spar to test their strength again me.

"First rule, I will not use any of my elemental magic in this spar but I will let you guys to use your own magic."

"Second rule, if your sword is out of your hand, that means you have already lost or have surrendered."

"And lastly, whoever manages to defeat me, a great reward shall awaits you. SO FIGHT WITH YOUR FULL FIGHTING SPIRIT!" I said with eyes full of spirit to give them more energy.

This time we have an actual referee.

"Is there anyone who wants to start first?" said the referee looking to all the knights.

One person was seen raising her hand. It turned out that it was Charlet which I said that she is really well known for her sword handling skills and also placed second below me in her sword skills in this kingdom. Charlet is a woman with light orange hair and a sharp crimson red eyes. She was about 10cm shorter than me but she has a good body posture for a swordswoman.

"Take your position and prepare for the sparing" said the referee again.

Both of us are ready with both feet stick on the ground and hands holding our sword ready to attack.

*3! 2! 1! FIGHT!

Without giving me any moment, I notice that she ran around me making a big circling to made a tornado dust maybe to limit my view. In terms of her technique againt me, I know that she is not playing around and does not underestimate my ability at all.

I used my swordsmanship skills to the fullest and looked for Charlet's presence behind the dust. Upon hearing a light sound of footsteps, I defence myself with my sword and block a sudden attack from her.

She attacked me relentlessly and quickly. I dodged the attack and defended myself immediately over and over again. We have been fighting like that for about 15 minutes already.

Not wanting to waste more times, I started to focus my signt again and stood in position to attack. I first made a feint attack and for the second attack I hit her sword really hard and sent her sword flying out of the ring. Now I'm holding her with my knees and my elbows pressing against her neck. The dust that surrounded us started to disappeared...

The referee and other knights looked at both of us thoughtfully.

"T-the winner is Captain Freya!!!" shouted the referee suddenly while raising his right hand pointing at me.

The silence was then broken by all the knight who cheered seeing the intense match between the two of us earlier. The sparring took about twenty minutes to finish.

"That was a good match, Charlet" I said as I got up from my position and held out my hand to help her up from the ground.

"Thanks..." she said while smiling and then gave me a hug.

Afrer that...I didn't have a change to rest at all and continued some more sparring with other knights who volunteered themselves.

The sun had already started to set and it was getting darker. So I ended our training and announced that in two days I want them to train like this and we will begin our secret mission. I want to see them all in a fully prepared skill when I come back.

I didn't have time to meet Violet at all today either. After all, I'm currently busy with this important mission. Anyway, Lord Alazuir has already ordered a knight that I've approved to take care of Vi with full trust. So, I'm now less worried about her condition.

Tonight... I may not even have any time to sleep because tonight I will go see and investigate the state of eight more places of slavery on the list given by Lord Alazuir...
