Trying to learn magic

Ethan has been nagging his mother non-stop to let him teach magic. Since as a child he couldn't decipher complex words. Him reading books is like loading forza horizon 4 on a 4gb ram i3 pc. It will overload and will not read well. 

He underestimated reincarnation a lot. All the isekai novels are fake. A child has less cognitive functions and he couldn't start learning magic and it frustated him a lot.

He cursed the 3 year old isekai geniuses, how they learnt magic so easily and with less limitations but he couldn't do it. He formed a pseudo.

So he found a easier method to learn magic; that is to plead with his mother to learn, since she is a high-profile noble with huge awareness of magic. 

It was quite difficult to convince her that magic is safe for him. And he convinced her pseudo fear that someone might target him since she was her son. With that she finally agreed to teach him when he will be 5 since it was a lower limit to learn magic.

"Children of Genius mages died since they tried attempting to use magic underage. I don't know who told you to practice early" Lucia spoke while taking him to the throne room.

The throne room is filled with the throne surrounded by two waterfalls and a fountain at the top, but the water is not spreading everywhere. It was restriced to certain space in a shape.

"You are saying magic is dangerous but isn't water dangerous too " Ethan asked.

"The water is safe, it is sacred water of our realm, you can breath underwater Dear. No worries. " Lucia said as she explained how Aquaria people has high lung capacity and water is quite commonplace.

She coughed and " Coming back to the point. I will agree to teach you magic, but if it gets dangerous, you will stop. No question asked okay " Lucia turned serious. It was quite rare for her to turn strict

"Please get to the point mom " Ethan replied getting impatient.

"I will explain about magic in a simple way even you can understand. First of all; magic is generated by one's life force known as mana. Mana is based on several external factors " Lucia explained

"There are seven known elements known throughout the world. They are Earth, Water, Ice, Fire, Wind, Light and Dark elements"

"Magic is affected by terrain and external affects such as weather, location etc. You following me so far " Lucia asked him concerned that what she is saying might be difficult for a 5 year old.

"I kind of get it. Should I select the element I prefer or, the element we get is decided based on genetics" Ethan responded while trying as much as hard to form words

"You are really a genius, being able to understand and speak like a good student about magic. But coming back to the point; No you can use any element you want " Lucia spoke still being serious. She knows that magic is not something you should be half-hearted about 

"But, genetics and heridity play an important role to magic aptitute. So your lineage matters. person 1 with 'A' wind magic aptitude will learn in 2 days compared to a person 2 with ' C' Wind magic aptitude who learns in 30 days. "

"But person 2 can beat person 1; if person 2 decides to work for 60 days. " Lucia explained.

"You suck at explanations, mom " Ethan spoke in teasing way.

Lucia becomes dejected at her son being disappointed in her, she wondered what she did wrong but continued 

"Anyway. You can learn the element you want, but it would be a waste. I personally prefer learning the element you are good at for now " Lucia suggested to Ethan.

"Okay but how can we improve mana, and channel the magic? Is there any external force which can raise the element growth? Can we learn higher levels with element we aren't compatible to? Do we ha- " Ethan asked some of his question

"I forgot what you asked " Lucia replied honestly while brushing her hair while sweatdropping. Ethan felt like she is underestimating him a lot.

"Seriously, you are dumb big sis, no wonder you are an Augmentator. " A milf in her 30s arrived only for me to realize it was my hot aunt. She was well developed with less beautiful and more sexy feautres.

She was seductive and more flirty that Ethan's mother didn't approved

"Sis you should just teach him the basics already. You are waaaay overprotective " She responded

"Amaris you shouldn't butt in my family matters " Lucia responded.

"Whaaaat! He is my nephew too..Cooome on? " Amaris, Ethan's aunt responded.

"You are clearly a bad influence on him, Amaris." Lucia glared at her bad behaviour.

"Excuse me, sis." Amaris responded

They both argued for a while. 

The argument seems unstoppable for a while, Ethan walk away from the room untill he saw a tiny figure emerged from inside the water. A mischievous grin spread across the five-year-old girl's face as her eyes contacted Ethan. 

She is a young girl with long black hair and blue eyes. Her hair is tied into pigtails and she wears a white headband with a light blue ribbon on each end

Somehow she seemed familiar to him..."It was you, the girl that gave me Waterbiscuits to him during the Spring Awakening:" 

"Of course. It was me, you kind of sad that day lonely so " She responded proud of herself

"I snuck past the guards just to see you, Ethan!" She whispered while hiding along with him.

 "But won't you be punished for sneaking in here?" he whispered back

The girl shrugged, with excitement. "Maybe, but it's worth it to see a friend," she said, her gaze unwavering.

"And I wanted to meet you Woody " She used the nickname with him.

Taking his hand, she pulled him along a hidden path that wound through the castle gardens. 

"This way," she instructed, pointing towards a narrow opening in the hedge. "Follow me, and stay calm." She said with a excited smile on her face

"This might cause an outrage. But it seemed fun " Ethan said as he can finally go out for a while out of this castle. 

She looked so cute and brave at the same time. Her eyes were as blue as the sky. She had a special kind of magic about her, like a little hero ready to take on the world.
