Reincarnated As An Anomaly

"What is life like after being reincarnated into another world for me? No memories of the past, naur do I know where I came from or how I came to be dead. I simply was reincarnated into a world I was not mean't to be in, some may refer to me as an Anomaly. Some may believe that life as a reincarnated is like a ray of sunshine but that only lasts for a brief moment before it fades away. Not everyone is blessed with great fortune or extraordinary abilities from the start. Some people may be born into difficult circumstances and have to struggle to make ends meet. I had no magical power when I was born, in a world where it was common, so I was granted a special skill called Negation. This ability is what has kept me alive, as it can cancel out any magical attack. I have encountered people who were close to me, only to witness their eventual demise right before my eyes. I have endured the loss of so many people that it has caused me to become emotionally disconnected. What is the purpose of forming relationships if the person is destined to die anyway? The road I go is too dangerous for any weak person both physically and mentally to ally with. That is the harsh reality of Reincarnating for me. But I still do not lose hope. No matter how many times I question myself, I will prevail. There must be a reason to why I was sent here and I must find out. Doesn't matter how many times I fall or how many circumstances I've endured pain like no other. Atleast during those times I had peacefull times aswell with both friends and family, so watch out world. I, Tomo Yutura, am determined to survive until the end."

Chapter 7 Part II

I was totally stunned by the information I had just heard. For some strange reason, I felt disconnected and unable to respond appropriately to the circumstances. What is going on with me? Is this a typical reaction for someone in my position?

Aiden scoffed and shook his head, his smirk disappearing. His face turned serious and his green eyes darkened as he looked into the elf's eyes. "Do you really think your organization can change the world? Don't be so naive," he said. Aiden was adamant as he pointed his finger to the elf, saying, "It's due to individuals like you that the world is in the state that it is in currently."

"To tamper with the equilibrium and actuality is essentially sealing our fate. When we disrupt the balance of nature, we risk creating a chaotic and unpredictable environment. This chaos can bring about unexpected and far-reaching consequences that may be difficult to repair. We may find ourselves facing a future in which our own actions have changed the world in ways we can't anticipate, with long-term implications that could reverberate for generations."

As I stood there listening to Aiden, I couldn't help but feel as though something was off. The elf had just spoken about me being reincarnated in another world, yet Aiden hadn't seemed to question it.

Aiden looked at the elf sternly and said, "I can't allow you to escape now that I know your intentions." He clenched his hand into a tight fist.

While they were conversating, I couldn't have stopped thinking.

Ever since I had encountered Aiden, I felt as though I could really rely on him. My thoughts were becoming more and more chaotic and my brain felt as though it was putting the pieces together. This trust I placed in Aiden, almost like I had already known him for some time from the past.

Whenever I noticed something strange about him, he would act like it had never happened. A recollection then suddenly came to my mind, it was from the past and it was from my perspective, along with someone who looked exactly like Aiden besides me. Although Aiden and the person in my memory had a similar appearance, the individual I was thinking of appeared to be much more slender and his eyes were noticeably darker.

At the conclusion of the memory, I was overcome with emotion at the words, "You're my best friend" that the mysterious person had said. My body was shaking and I felt like I was about to cry, but I quickly returned to the present moment.

What was that memory and what is going here!?" I wondered before spotting Aiden getting ready to finish off the elf.

The elf asked Aiden in disbelief, "Are you seriously suggesting I would show up here without being prepared?" As she spoke, a brilliant white light shone from under her hood. We lifted our arms in front of our eyes to shield them from the bright light. It was so intense that it temporarily blinded us. When we lowered our arms, we noticed that the source of the light was directed at Aiden.

In those brief moments, time seemed to stand still. My mind was shouting a warning as the beam moved toward Aiden, him begining to stance himself as if he was willing to accept whatever it brought. But why had my body moved without me consciously telling it to? As I screamed "Look out, Aiden!", I leapt in front of him and took the brunt of the beam instead of him. All I could hear was Aiden yelling "Kidd!"
