"Notice. Bryan Verna Orlaith is an experienced Mage, according to the database within the rankings in the Arks. He possesses several skills in hand-to-hand combat and knowledge of sword fighting. He is known to be the Slayer Pillar of the Barren Pillars, a division that is part of the Arks."

"He is the second to be noted as the First Seat of a Pillar."

There was a reason why Mavislin chose him to be the Slayer Pillar. Watching the way he slew all those enemies without taking a single hit or changing his expression... He truly deserves the title to his name. I looked down at my hands to see them trembling.

Verna rushed towards me instantly when he noticed my hands shaking.

"Are you okay?! Your hands are shaking tremendously! Have you been gripping your sword too tightly? Did one of those Husks get you?!" asked Verna, trying to investigate my shivering hands.

No, not just my hands... My whole body was shaking. I didn't know that being in battle mode constantly for hours would be so taxing on my body. I may be a Mage now but I have the body of a human. Seeing that I was going to blackout, Verna instantly scooped me up in a bridal style.

"Just hold on, I'll get you to my place as soon as possible," he whispered, before denting the ground with his foot.

I closed my eyes in fear that I'll lose them from my sockets as he dashed through the thick forest. After a minute-long terror, we finally reached our destination. Perhaps, if we had done that sooner, we wouldn't have to go through with fighting the Husks.

Then again, I wouldn't have gotten to hear the stories of the brothers and the Domains from Verna. In a way, everything was just fine as it is. I managed to get a peek at how his place looked like and all I could say was that it looked cozy and small. Like a little hut. It was livable for a single person.

And if the Mage living in it was in trouble, he could easily disguise or protect the house from any impending danger. But I could only admire the house for a second as he went straight to his bedroom. Verna quickly placed me on a bed with a black, furry blanket and a soft pillow.

I was still trying to comprehend what was happening as he bolted out of the room. He came back after a few seconds and brought back a bowl full of chicken herbal soup. Make that two as he produced one more onto the nightstand.

"You should've told me you haven't rested for the whole day. A Human Mage has more problems than Mages or Humans. We have to look out for our physical restrictions as especially if you've just gotten your powers. Using so much physical strength and Magecraft in a few hours..."

Verna closed his eyes and shook his head before adjusting the blanket to lay on top of me.

"It will kill your physical body. You will end up generating so much Elemental Energy within your body that it'll destroy you from the inside out. In other words, you will turn into a bomb and there'll be nothing left of you afterward," explained Verna, with tears threatening to fall.

Oi! Words Of the World! You didn't say anything about this happening! I didn't just die and get reincarnated just to become a ticking time bomb! You better explain yourself clearly this time!

"Notice. What Verna has stated is true for those who possess Magecraft but have human attributes. However, there's one thing you must note. You will never have to experience such danger as your sword will help to absorb any excess Elemental Energy."

"The reason why you are experiencing fatigue now is purely due to physical exhaustion, nothing about your Elemental Energy. You have been up for nearly twelve hours and with a good amount of that fighting off enemies. Of course, you'll be tired but you won't combust anytime soon."

So, what you are saying... Is that because of my sword, I won't end up becoming a human grenade? Now, that was a relief.

"Affirmative. You might want to explain to prince charming over there. His anxiety levels are through the roof."

I am starting to think the Words Of the World has more of a personality compared to a regular Artificial Intelligence. Her sass is reminiscent of someone I knew back in my previous life. Her emotions are seeping through her words, despite how computerized she sounds.

"Don't worry, Bryan. I won't be dying anytime soon. I've got my sword to help me store excess Elemental Energy instead of just allowing it pile up in my body..."
