Before The Trial Starting:

About 300 figures stood all around the square of their village as they mimicked conversation and talked with each other without the ability to speak in words and emit any sounds.

They were in the cobblestone square at the center of the village.

At the square's center stands a large, ornate fountain, from which murky water flows.

The square is eerily quiet with only soft rustles of wind and the occasional creak of the dolls and the 'structures' surrounding the square.

Despite the murky water in the fountain, the rest of their surroundings were meticulously maintained, with every corner spotless and free from dust, filth, and dirt. However, there is a constant gray misty atmosphere just enough to see things and the ones near you; A norm for them.

The cobblestone pavements of the village streets were pristine, a testament to the care and attention given to maintaining the area in perfect order.
