She paused, letting the gravity of her words settle over the students.

"You and your partner will be bound by wristbands that prevent separation. When the time comes, gather at the dueling stadium where I will remove the wristbands before the tournament starts."

Violeth continued, "These wristbands are not just for your safety and rules; they are meant to help you get to know each other better as we begin a new semester."

After explaining the rules, Violeth opened the floor for students to choose their partners.
