Chapter 30: Star Grades

Walking towards the door, I saw a young man with a sinister smile on his face, he looks like your typical young master, I flashed my sharingan and his face became blank then after a while an arrogant look mixed with scorn came over his face.

"Humph! He isn't worth the trouble!" He harrumphed as he went back to his seat.

Exiting the building I couldn't help but release a breath of relief. Like that was really close! I didn't know if that dude had some ancient powerhouse ancestor in his back pocket or something, he looked like he came from some kind of high esteemed clan or some crap.

It's a good thing I wished for the sharingan, at first after a few weeks I kind of regretted it. 'Why didn't I wish for something better!' was my thought but after a couple experiments with genjutsu.

I learned I'm not just able to put people in illusion, but with the help of yin qi, I can send suggestions to person's mind without the use of a mangekyo which is inaccessible to me at the moment.

Thank me being an idiot and wishing for this thing.

"I need a place to crash for a while." I said while I stopped to ponder on my next moves. 'Guess I'll just ask for directions again.'

Asking around I got the directions of an Inn along with the Merchant and Alchemist guilds. I made way towards the merchant guild first, it was rather large Chinese building with blue pillars.

Entering it I can see a number of items on display, from pills, to elixers, weapons and many staring at a random sword, which was named Mountain piercing sword, I looked at the price added to it and it costed over 35,000 Silver lien.

My legs felt weak as I nearly tripped at the amount. Holy shit that is expensive!

'Eva Scan that sword what level is it?'

So mine is a bit better than it in quality(without the runes), good to know. Weapons, pills and techniques are all graded from 1 star to ten.

Walking upto the receptionist who was another woman, except she wore blue this, she obviously had the same reaction as the last.

"How could I help you." she said with a seductive smile clearly not hiding her intentions.

"I'm just here to cash in a few martial beast cores." I told her as I laid down a bag containing twenty four beast cores.

"Please wait a moment I'll appraise them." she winked before she walked off shaking her hips.

Honestly it's flattering that so many women find me attractive, but I don't think I'll be in another romantic relationship for a while, even if my body is that of an hormonal teen.

Soon she came back with a pouch in her hand, "The total amount comes upto 3,456 silver lien. Smiling unconciously I thank her, to which she blushed.

Before I took my leave, I asked her for directions to the inn. I head towards a Inn where I crashed for the day.

Waking up in the morning I use yang flames to burn the bacteria away from my body and ate some food I stored.

I then head out to the Alchemist, I think it's about time I learn how to do it. Maybe I can learn how to make pills elixers and other stuff.

"Excuse miss I'd like to learn how to make pills." I told the receptionist "Little brother did you come here to become an alchemist?" she asked, I simply nodded.

"To your left there's a library, however, becoming an alchemist is no easy feat, this sister here isn't trying to turn you away, but it takes years of dedication and studying, to even become a Begginer Alchemist." she warns me. "Are you sure you want to do this?" she asked me.

I nodded "Yes I'm sure." she didn't look too convinced but she gave me a small badge. "This should give you clearance to the library, just don't say I didn't warn you." she says, I nodded and I walked away.

"*Sigh!* I really hopes he doesn't give up on this, if he does the is sister here will sooth his broken heart~❤️!" said the woman as she swooned.
