Chapter 21: Saying Goodbye (Edited)

It's been two weeks and since then I've done nothing but train my body, work on my base and collect materials, also playing with and taking care of my new pet wolf who I named Fenrir, it wasn't to hard especially since my wife and I use to foster puppies.

I've been experimenting some more with qi and I've found it could replicate or change to the cellular structure or cause certain chemical reactions for example the combustion of oxygen to create fire. It's rather fascinating, I've tried to make a human heart but it wasn't possible, almost died of qi deprivation.

I've also been working my space qi, which I've seen progress. I can at least teleport a few feet, but I've mitigated this weakness by using formations.

I sighed as I crashed into my bed "Making high-tech stuff is gonna to take too long and I want to leave this place soon as humanely possible, but it'll at least take another few weeks to round up enough raw materials and to- Ah screw it! I'm leaving next week!"

I'll make a new weapon and some new clothes, I hate these robes. I still have the resources from Fenrir's mother, so I'll just use those along with the materials from that bear I ran into a few weeks back.

Yes I went back and had my revenge. Plus the Martial stones from both should be a good for the weapon. Martial stones are used in the creation of weapons pills and even formations.

I have enough to make an alright sword, maybe a gun as well. Yeah a gun that runs on qi.

Eva buy a couple gun schematics from a version if this world, one that runs on qi.

As I saw the blue prints I began to rid then of their flaws. And added my own ideas, I then began to draw up a plan for the sword on the system screen of course.

"Done with this, I should make a good weapon with the materials I have for now." When I begin to venture I'll find better resources.

"Woof!" A cute puppy with silver fur ran into my work shop. I was currently making a forge. "Fen are you hungry boy?"

"Woof Woof!" he answered it seems he can understand me to some extent. I'll have to do some tests that can tell me how exactly smart he is.

I the took out a feeding bottle from my inventory. I'll have to start using a bowl from now on and he hasn't gotten his teeth as of yet, so I can't feed him solids.

"Come on bud lemme feed you." I said pup ran up to me as I layed him on his stomach and began to feed him. I have to lay him on his stomach, if I were to feed him on his back like a regular baby he'd have breathing problems.

You know his mother was able to make strategic decisions and not only that nearly corner me. If she was that powerful then what about the other martial beasts in this world are they complete monsters even more so than Fenrir's mother?

Let's not think about that now, let's put this little guy to sleep.

- A week later -

Right now I'm currently getting dressed, I've already made the weapons I need with the current materials I have. Sure I could buy some but where's the fun in that?

I then looked towards a the covered object given to me by Len Min. Even now I didn't open it.

Sighing I undid the rapping and I saw a hair clip with a flower like design, the gem was blue in colour while the flour was green with a black outline.

Fuck this looks expensive! How could my mother afford this! Don't tell me it's that secret family troupe!

I then tried to study it for any qi but I couldn't find any....good so I'm sort of safe. Might as well use it.

I then attached it to my hair giving myself a pony tail. I was currently wearing a red coat with a hood and a black under shirt and white jeans pants.

"Come on Fen I know you don't like the storage cube but please get in."

"Woof Woof!" he barked in protest, sighing I took out a clear cube with runes on it and booped his snoot with it, sending him inside if it.

He looked sad inside of it but I don't want him to be taken away from me.

The storage cube is based off the pokeball, I managed to use my limited comprehension of space qi to create it, runes really helped in this one. Damn they are overpowered!

Though it's a problem I couldn't get them combat ready. I do have a few ideas to deal with this.

Anyway I entered Soothing River city, getting all sorts of looks, they've never seen me wearing these type of clothes before and I'm currently not under an illusion and due to my looks I'm pretty much the most handsome person they have ever seen.

"Who's that young master?" said one a girl looking at Ken Hai "I don't know, I wonder what where he got such clothes?" said another one.

I ignored. the gossiping and stares and stopped right in front of the Len Clan gate, which was currently being guarded.

"Fellow brothers, I would like to see Len Min." I said to them not bowing, but I gave them enough respect not to offend them. I am one who believes treat others how you want to be treated.

Though me wanting to see Len Min did stir up some gossip, with some of the disciples and servants.

"Who are you fellow brother?" asked one of them.

"My name is Ken Hai." I said bluntly their eyes widened, these two guards were the same ones who were guarding the gates all those weeks ago.

"Len Hai, it's you!" he said in surprise "It's now Ken Hai." he then gave an order to a servant to call Len Min.

After a few minutes Len Min walked out but was confused when she saw a very handsome man waiting for her, she was expecting Len Hai or well Ken Hai.

But suddenly the image of Ken Hai over lapped with this seemingly handsome youngman, she gasped in shock.

"Ken Hai!" she says in disbelief. Ken Hai smiled warmly "Hello Aunt Min, I came here today to say I'm leaving Soothing River city."

"I see, Len Hui and Len Shu just left a a month ago, I hope you have a safe journey." she says with a bow.

Ken Hai left and went towards the Tu family manor which wasn't too far. He was allowed to seek audience with Tu Shen.

"Elder Tu." Ken Hai bowed in respect, this man saved his life, he will forever be great full.

"So why have you seeked an audience with me now Ken Hai?" asked the honorable man.

"Elder Tu I would like to thank you for saving my life, I will be leaving this city soon. So this junior here wanted to at least thank you before leaving."

"I see, your mother were good friends with my wife. So I wanted to help her son any way could. I'm sorry I couldn't have done more!" he lamented while I shook my head.

"No it was enough for me to meet my master. Again thank you and good bye Senior Tu." he bowed and left.

I walked down the path with a clear jump in step. You know I've never felt so...so free before. As Len Hai I suffered through a lot. But now that I fused with his soul and body. I have this sense of excitement.

This a new world with new people and places, I wonder how I'll live in this world?

A smile then came upon my face.

"Who cares let's just go already! I just know this adventure is gonna be fun!" I said with a huge grin on my face as I started to dash off into the distance.
