Arghhhhh~! I'm so bored.

Nothing is happening with my real body, and the panda won't stop eating me. I haven't seen those fireflies in a long while and no humans visit me either.

As for my flute body, it's in the dark pouch with the young man. He brought me out a few times to practice with me in an open space, but after that, he always put me back into the dark space in that small leather pouch. I haven't been taken out in days, or maybe even months after that.

That small pouch. How the hell can I fit in such a small pouch? Is it perhaps a magic pouch?

I remember that old man owning the pouch as well. Is this readily available in this world or what?

If I had to guess about the pouch, it must be bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. Hey, it's like that one telephone box, isn't it?

Or wait, was it a police box? Urgh! I don't care. I'm so bored.

Days pass by, and once again time flows by me like a river with no dam. Damn.

Hmm… wait, I feel something grab me. Wait, yes! This kid brought me out finally. How many days has it been? Or has it been a year?

As I wonder that, I see something above me that is… quite weird. Hmm… why is the cloud so close to me, I wonder. Is it a very heavy cloud perhaps? Or perhaps clouds in this world do come this close to the ground.

Although I don't remember them ever being this close while I was on the roof. Also, what is with all this windy noise?

I turn my vision away from above me and look in front of the young man where all the windy sound came from.

My heart just stopped.

There was a bird in front of me, flapping its wings with a scary look on its face. But I don't care about that bird at the moment.

No, what I care about is the fact that we are freaking flying in the air. WHAT THE HELL???

Why are we flying? How are we flying? Why the hell is this young man here? Don't you dare drop me, okay? I don't want to deal with being dropped from this high of a location.

I-I might break into pieces if that happens, okay? Please… Please, sir, don't drop me from here.

Suddenly, the damn bird in front of me flaps its wings. I can see visible green blades of air form in front of it that come flying towards me, or rather at the young man, but since I'm in front of it, I'm likely in more danger.

The young man, who is still flying has me in his left hand, while in the right hand, he holds a blue-colored, crystalline sword which he swings.

Suddenly, water erupts from the edge of his sword, which takes the shape of a crescent moon flying towards the incoming wind blades.

Those two attacks clash in mid-air, the water and wind mixing to make a spray of water that was spread all around us.

Many of the flying droplets fell on top of us there, but the bird doesn't seem to be very wet at all, and neither does the young man. It's as if water simply refuses to stick to their bodies.

It must be only me that is wet at— Oh, I'm not wet either. Hmm, I don't remember the old man waxing me or anything. Why is water not sticking to me? Did he polish me so much that there was no chance of it sticking on me?

That old man must have been a master craftsman then. To make something that didn't get wet with water, electronics companies back on earth would kill to learn his secret.

Hmm, the young man is moving me now. He brings me up to his lips… and kisse— I mean, plays the flute again. Suddenly, sweet sounds escape from me. Ah~ so sweet.

It's a melody that just makes me so relaxed and wants to forget about everything. It makes me want to go to sleep right now.

As I think that, I see the bird faltering in mid-air. Now that I look at it, that bird is a large crow, bigger than those vultures I saw… years ago?

It can't keep flying, huh? With such a relaxing melody of mine, it must be falling asleep too. That's understandable, I'm so sweet-sounding after all.

The young man keeps playing the flute, me, while the bird tries to keep itself afloat and fails. It really must be about to fall asleep.

Holy shit. If I had known this work back on earth, I would've always had a flute on me so that I could drop those damn crows when they tried to poop on me.

As the bird finally fully loses itself to sleep, the young man stops playing with me and dashes downwards towards the falling man with his sword in hand.

We are so high in the air that even though it takes the young man a while to reach the bird, we are still nowhere near the ground.

As soon as he reaches the bird, his blue sword shines with bluer light and he finally slashes at the falling bird.

A slit of blue light appears diagonally from the crow's body, and before it reaches the ground, the crow's body splits into two with blue light exploding from inside of it.

The young man slows down a little and the crow's body falls to the empty grassland with a splat. Then, the young man comes gracefully drown from the sky, even doing a flip at the end, and lands near the corpse of the crow.

There is a wide smile on the young man's face as he brings me up and stares at me. Then he says, "I freaking love you!"

Aw, I love— Hah! You thought I was gonna fall for that, you idiot. Get lost.
