Prologue

"Ah! There you are, finally i get to see you" The tall man said as he advanced towards me, his slick black hair were combed back neatly from his pale glorious face,"I've waited so long to see you, and see how beautiful woman you have grown into", I took a step back, hoping to defend myself but i had in my hands was a single rose, its thorns cut into my palm and blood trickled down from my hands, but who cared? After all i had gone through this pain was nothing. The large void opened in my heart from his death was enough to crush my all hopes of survival; right now all i wanted was to curl up beside him and sleep forever. David's body lay behind me motionless, his beautiful face was peaceful in death and looked ever so stunning in it's still beauty.

I looked back to my love and stood straighter. Maurice would never get past me, either i would die here or HE would.

i held my head higher and said, "Damn you! Step away and leave us alone or i will send you to hell sooner than you would like"

He just smiled and continued forward. I chuckled dryly, and smirked. Opening my palm i let the beloved rose fall.

There was warning in my eyes, but he ignored it.

I extended my hand and remembered all the times David had held it and taught me how to use a bow, how he had placed his hand on my waist and taught me how to wield a sword. How his beautiful face had arranged into a crooked smile every time i did something stupid, Oh! how much i loved him.

All those memories flooded behind my eyes and i saw red splotched against my eyelids. Blue streaks of brilliant light flooded out my palms in nanoseconds, they hit Maurice like lightning and he flew back almost a km in the dry clearing.

He screamed, my blow could have killed a normal person easily but this was Maurice, the fight had just begin and i was ready to play this game...my powers were enough to stop him.
