Chapter 5

Facing another giant serpent I broke out in cold sweat

Gritting my teeth I was pondering what to do when suddenly an arrow flew passed me and hit the serpent's eye!

The serpent squealed in pain as I saw three figures ran passed me

What the-…Damn, they're so cool!

I couldn't help admiring them as they killed the giant serpent with ease

So beautiful! So this is what it's like to see the main characters!

Suddenly remembering something I heaved a sigh as I thought 'Alas since they are villains and protagonist they don't get along well still, what's more I'm gonna leave anyway…'

Remembering my wish of having a dream life the ache in my heart immediately disappeared as I thought 'Wait a minute, I still need my peaceful life!'

While I was thinking everyone already killed the giant serpent with ease and before I knew it they pointed their weapons at each other again!

What the fuck is wrong with these people?!

Shaking my head I lost my temper and blurted out "Why do you guys keep fighting? We're not the enemies you know"

With that said I caught their attention and without hesitation I explained "There are still monsters out there that could be stronger than us so instead of fighting each other shouldn't we use each other's strength and help each other?"

Although they wanted to retort they couldn't refute my words and was silent

I smirked as I crossed my arms

Hearing a rustle I became alert and turned around in an instant

Everyone was startled because of my movement and they also became vigilant

We waited and waited but nothing came out, after some time I heaved a sigh of relief as I muttered "Phew fortunately it was nothing…"

Lee Mi-Nyeo stared at where I was staring and narrowed her eyes at me as she thought 'I didn't sensed anything…is he stronger than me that he could detect something that I couldn't or is it just a fluke?'

Seeing that they are all staring at me I coughed in embarrassment and said "Anyway let's go back to the entrance of the dungeon and wait for reinforcement"

With that being said I walked away as if I was fleeing for my life

They all stared at my figure that was slowly disappearing into the distance

The first to move was Jeong Ji-ho who started walking towards the direction I left

Choi Kwan scratched the back of his head and sighed before he placed his sword in his scabbard and followed along

Seeing Choi Kwan leaving Lee Mi-Nyeo wanted to stop him but froze realizing that she has no say and was silent

Suddenly Choi Kwan stopped when Geum Beok-seo spoke and said "Why are you guys following him?"

Choi Kwan turned around and asked "What?"

Geum Beok-seo furrowed his eyebrows and said "That guy…he is weak, maybe even weaker than average"

Hearing this Choi Kwan smiled that did not reach his eyes as he asked "So what?"

Probably not expecting this kind of response Geum Beok-seo was speechless as he subconsciously blurted out "You who is strong is following someone who is weaker than you?"

Choi Kwan didn't replied this time and turned around as he left.

Lee Mi-Nyeo and Geum Beok-seo stared at each other before Geum Beok-seo stepped forward and followed along

Lee Mi-Nyeo who was left alone scratched her head in annoyance before she also followed.

I was far away and didn't noticed the commotion as just walked a straight line

"You're familiar with this place?"

Jeong Ji-ho who catched up with me asked

I shook my head and said honestly "This is the first time I came here, I just remembered the way"

Jeong Ji-ho was silent before he said "You have a good memory'

I simply hummed being used to having this compliment that I didn't noticed that it was a strange answer

Jeon Ji-ho stared at my face before he turned his head and started walking quietly

Eventually we reached the entrance of the gate and it was probably night time according to my calculation so just as I was preparing to sleep we suddenly heard a loud noise

Everyone looked over towards the sound and we saw a whole herd of monsters running away from the east

Seeing this I had a bad premonition rose in my heart

Those monsters looked horrified as if they encountered another stronger monster

Wait, a stronger monster…even stronger than the giant serpent who is class B?

I shuddered at this thought and I said "Let's run"

"What?" Choi Kwan looked at me and I said with great difficulty "There's probably a much more stronger monster there"

Choi Kwan was surprised for a moment before he nodded and was about to say let's go when--

Boom!

"Ahhhh!"

A large tree was thrown at me and Choi Kwan

Keuk!

I puked out a mouthful of blood as my back hit the wall

Choi Kwan was in the same state at me but probably because he was a lot stronger than me he didn't coughed out any blood

"Han-wool-ssi are you alright?"

Choi Kwan pushed off the tree and examined my body, I felt like shit, I think my ribs are broken literally

Everyone gathered around us and before we could even calm down I saw another tree flyng towards us and I screamed "Watch out!"

"Tsk" Jeong Ji-ho clicked his tongue as he unsheathed his sword and sliced down the tree in half

Choi Kwan helped me out and that's when we heard sound of stomping

The ground shook and a huge shadow fell on us

….Fuck, you're kidding me right?

How are we supposed to defeat a hydra?!
