Reborn With A Revenge System!

The world has always despised the weak, this has always been the rule since the beginning of time. The weak are prey for the strong and this went especially for humans. In a bid for equality, rules were put in place for the weak to live alongside the strong but this rule didn't apply to me. My name is Byung and I was born with the worst thing known to man and that was poverty. Bullied and ridiculed, there was no one to save me as I was left to the mercy of the wolves that circled me. I was a source of entertainment and often times wished for death and this was the only thing that came true in my miserable life but boy, was I in for a fucking surprise! [[Ding!]] [[Congratulations! You have been reincarnated!!]] ----------------------------------------- No NTR, No Yuri.

Ambush?

I felt the bullet go through my temple but I jolted awake, my eyes opening and for the first time in this body, I felt fear.

Chae-won was nowhere to be seen but I saw a handwritten message dropped beside me.

If it was a cheesy romance story, I would have grinned but my mind was hazy.

I couldn't even recall the details of the dream but I knew it must have been a nightmare.

The cold bead of sweat forming on my forehead was proof of that.

I checked the letter to see what was written, she could have just sent a text message but I guess she wanted to leave an impression.

[I had a great time! I look forward to making more memories, Daddy ~]

The letter read but I was glad she was gone, being called daddy did feel a bit strange but I had to go home, I couldn't spend the night out without any explanation or I would be in trouble.

It didn't matter who I thought I was, my stepmom did already feel like a bitch.

I freshened up and left the hotel. I thought about calling my driver to come pick me up but I also wanted to navigate this place myself.

I was no stranger to danger and this was why I checked out, the women gave me stares like they wished I would ram them right over their desk.

But even I knew I couldn't go around spreading my seed in random people or I might become the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons.

The air was refreshing, my legs felt lighter and my balls were emptied, I felt like a new man.

The power of sex was fascinating, I could do anything I wanted at this point, and there was nothing that could stop me.

I wanted to walk, but it was only past 9 P.M and I knew that walking for a bit wouldn't do me any harm, I needed the exercise.

I put my phone away, I knew that using it in the dark wasn't a smart thing to do at this moment.

But I noticed there were a few people behind, they could just be walking in the same direction for all I knew.

However, something told me that they wanted to do more than that, it was my sixth sense.

And I realized the streets were emptier than I had thought, there were rarely any people here making me wonder if Chae-won made it home safely but the text message that came into my phone at that moment reassured me that she got home safely.

That was when I decided to take a sudden turn into a corner to confirm if I was being followed and just as I suspected, I was.

They followed me and I noticed that they had weapons, bats and knives.

Did that bitch set me up? That had to be it because there was no way that they would find me.

It couldn't be a coincidence and my mind instantly went to Jay, they were probably here for payback.

I turned around and halted, allowing them to know I was aware that they were after me.

They were still approximately thirty meters away from me so this gave me some time to survey my environment for anything that might be of use to me.

There was a metal pipe but it was closer to them than it was to me so I couldn't grab it even if I wanted to, I was in a tight spot.

"You're a long way away from home, fella…" One of the three men said, dragging his metal bat along the ground.

I didn't give a verbal response and for some reason, I wasn't scared.

Why wasn't I scared? I was being ambushed by three guys and I wasn't freaking out?

The other two moved to either side of him, making sure that I couldn't escape even if I wanted to.

"I don't know who you people are but you should leave or I'm afraid I don't know what I would do to you people…" I warned them but of course, this was a bluff.

I had never been in a fight before and won, I knew that I would most likely have my ass beat.

I had to find a way to run, I needed an opening to escape this place.

[[New message from the God of Death!!]]

Wait, what? Did it just say death? Fuck my life, please don't tell me it is about to ask me to kill these guys.

[[Task: Take their lives!]]

[[Kill Count: 0/3]]

The moment I saw this, escaping flew out the window but the only reason they would give such a task was because they knew I was capable of it.

I took a deep breath because this was a different ball game, this was a life-or-death situation.

"Get him!" The man barked and everyone rushed towards me at once, they didn't even demand anything but the fact that they went straight for the kill was what puzzled me.

Even thieves would first demand for your valuables before taking your life but these set of thugs, it was my life they wished to steal.

I recalled that I had unlocked a small percentage of Minsuk's core muscle memory, maybe that was why I wasn't scared.

Maybe his body was used to this sort of situation and that was why I was so calm.

A swing came in from the left with the metal bat but I ducked down and tackled the first one to the ground.

However, this left me vulnerable to the remaining two holding daggers as they lunged towards him hoping to stab me but I rolled off the man I tackled, they missed me by an inch.

However, they also missed the person lying on the ground, I hoped they would at least cut him.

This was fucking crazy, did I even have it in me to take a life? I knew this would weigh on my conscience even if it was self-defense.

But this move allowed me to get closer to the pipe I had seen. There was a clear path for me to retreat and I did think about it.

Here comes the all-important question, what was more important?

My vengeance or sustaining my life in this vessel? The answer was all too clear as I reached for the metal pipe on the ground.

"Death it is," I found myself muttering as I faced these thugs, ready to take their lives.
