Chapter 63: The Royal Banquet

The banquet finally began. With the flying demons throwing soft petals and the table filled with numerous and enormous dishes. There were bubbling custard made with berries that were red as blood, a roasted chicken like creature which's teeth were still there, wine made of apples sweeter than honey. The guests from another land brought their land's special dishes.

At last, the one who presented their dishes were the ones from Gaion. With due respect, the guests from Gaion presented their dish.

"Oh, Lord Hades. We hereby present the dish of our thousands of years old culture, the blood bread. It is made with sea boar's blood, served with jam made with berries." said Hadrian.

Hades took a small bite of it. The taste was already lingered in his mouth, with his tongue looking as if he has taken a bite of raw flesh with the jam in it, red as wine.
