"Hey, wake up." Erland shook the cage gently but the cockatoo was sound asleep.

"Should we check if its alive?..." Frode asked as he reached out to open the gate of the cage.

"Hold it firmly..."

Frode opened the cage and took the cockatoo out with a firm grasp as Erland closed all the windows up, turning the room into a dark interrogation room with only the hearth's light remaining.
