Jay, a simple grocery store owner son, who tragically passed away due to sleeping with his laptop, which overheated and caused the battery to explode. However, he awoke in a mysterious realm of darkness and met an entity named Chaos. After a brief exchange, Jay was granted three wishes. He chose to be born into the world of "A Song of Ice and Fire" and gained partial powers akin to Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, though using them came at the cost of his life force. Jay found himself reborn as an infant in a Valyrian family with striking features distinct from Valyrian. Confusion and heated arguments filled his new surroundings. He was later taken outside, discovering he was in Old Valyria, a land of dragons and towering buildings. The father summoned a dragon and engulfed Jay in flames, but instead of harm, Jay felt an unusual sensation and remained unscathed. The family was bewildered by Jay's unique appearance, with black hair and red eyes, unlike the Valyrians. Jay drifted into slumber, leaving many unanswered questions in this unfamiliar world.
Vahaemorys descended slowly back onto the ship, his display having been enough to convince everyone of his extraordinary abilities. Among Nymeria's people, a young lady who was also a water witch couldn't contain her curiosity and awe. She asked Vahaemorys, "Lord, are you a supreme wizard?" Vahaemorys looked at her and replied, "No."
Confusion filled their faces as they wondered how Vahaemorys, who wasn't a supreme wizard, could wield such power over the weather. Vahaemorys clarified, "I'm immortal." With that, he walked to the side of the ship and bit the tip of his finger, letting a drop of his blood fall into the sea.
Suddenly, the water around their ships turned a deep, eerie shade of red. It was as if the entire sea had transformed into a vast expanse of blood. Vahaemorys uttered only one word, "Turn."
In an instant, the large ships and smaller boats changed their course, redirecting towards Dorne instead of their previous path towards the Basilisk Isles. The ships moved with a speed that left everyone astonished. They couldn't believe what they were witnessing.
Those on other ships and boats who couldn't see Vahaemorys began to believe that Mother Rhoyne herself was guiding and protecting them. Some even thought that Vahaemorys was a champion sent by Mother Rhoyne.
Standing before Nymeria, the towering warrior princess, Vahaemorys's display of power aside, he was still just a 10-year-old boy. Throughout the extraordinary events that had transpired, everyone had been so mesmerized by Vahaemorys's abilities that they hadn't even noticed his youthful appearance.
With a hint of hesitation, Nymeria finally asked, "How old are you?" Vahaemorys responded with a smile, "Older than you." In a sense, it was true. As a reincarnator, Vahaemorys's soul bore the weight of two lifetimes.
Walking to the side of the ship, Vahaemorys mused, "Civilizations may rise and fall, but I will remain unchanged."
Nymeria pressed on, "Since you've decided to help, do I have to enter into a contract?" Vahaemorys explained matter-of-factly, "There's no such thing as a free meal. If you want to protect your people, there will be a price. But don't worry, it won't cost you your life. So, why be afraid?"
She hesitated, expressing her concern, "Because you haven't told me what I have to do." Vahaemorys stopped in her tracks and responded, "You didn't ask."
After a brief moment of silence, Vahaemorys revealed his ambition, "Perhaps in the future, a new empire will rise without the bloodshed of this era. Your descendants will be among my loyal subjects. When I call, they must be ready. Until then, neither you nor your descendants will need to do anything for me."
Extending his hand, Vahaemorys proposed, "What do you say?" At that very moment, the blood seemed to dance around him, as if venerating him as sacred. Nymeria slowly knelt before him, declaring, "I am willing to be your subject." She was ready to devote her life to ensure the safety of her people, so why hesitate.
In that instant, a powerful energy surged through Nymeria, causing her to glow. Soon, a phoenix mark appeared on her shoulder. This mark would be borne by the Martells for 14 generations, sealing the agreement between Vahaemorys and Nymeria.
Throughout the journey, Vahaemorys didn't engage in much conversation with Nymeria and her people. He often remained either outside on the deck or inside the cabin. Nymeria made sure that no one disturbed Vahaemorys, understanding the importance of their contract and handling matters involving him with utmost care.
Despite this, some of the elders among the group found moments to approach Vahaemorys and pester him with questions. They asked things like, "Are you sent by Mother Rhoyne? Where are you from, kid? I have a granddaughter your age; she's bright and clever. How about talking to her? Can you make me fly like you did earlier?" Vahaemorys could only offer a gentle smile in response. He understood the wisdom that came with age. As you grow older, your spirit seems to grow younger. It was saddening to realize that many of these elders had chosen to sacrifice their remaining time to ensure the younger generation could carry on their legacy.
