And so he would come to find that he was a child recently born, finding his surroundings to be within a three-story house on the second such floor. The room in particularly seemed to be built as a nursery with blue and yellows complimenting hues. The child found himself within a simple crib made of hickory, his eyes drawn above to the small collage consisting of kunai and shuriken - the mother's idea. Speaking of mother, the woman was hanging overhead a beautiful woman in her earlier twenties with black hair that belied a highlight of uzumaki crimson.
As far as the child could manifest, his father was often busy during the day with business and was rarely seen until night, with his caretaker either being his mother or his nanny, in her fifties with mixture of black and gray in her hair. One time, the child had even managed to catch view of his mother wearing a blue unitard and a green armored vest of some sort, and had nearly pulled on the ninja headband around her neck. Today, only a few days from his first birthday, was one of those days. Up until moments ago, the house was quiet. Now, however, a loud cry filled the village.
The woman which was his mother lifted the child from his bed and into the arms of his nanny, the fifty-something woman. She spoke, words which he could not understand. He saw tears in one eye and then his mother vanished into leaves. The child had no idea that this was the last time he would get to see his mother. He watched as his nanny carried him out and down the stairs, looking up behind to the orange-hued kyubi as they left the house towards the nearest shelter. Kentsuru watched as the tailed beast devastated the buildings nearby with one of his tails.
Buildings crumbled all around, threatening to crash into him and his nanny until in an instant his eyes shone and turned red; a construct of a beautiful woman with silken white hair and pale alabaster skin being created by the light of those eyes; a dainty dress forming around the female's form as her eyes shifted to three tomoe and raise her hand. The buildings and fragments stopped altogether, quickly being shorn and returned to their original state of matter. Time around the two seemed to be frozen, as the woman drifted down to Kentsuru.
"My beloved, now that you are under no harm I must leave. Should you wish to see me again merely close thine eyes and enter the Mindscape. I look forward to the day when we will be united." spoke the woman in lilting dulcet, and then she vanished. Seconds longer, and time resumed it's natural flow. Nanny continued to carry little Kentsuru to the shelter, the both of them now safe of falling rubble. Memories which had been locked deep within the child began to resurface, calling back to his past life.
Weeks later, as all were mourning the passing of the Yondaime Hokage, little Kentsuru and his father could be seen standing before a gravestone with all black worn. The child's father had been out of Konohagakure during the incident in which his wife had perished, blaming his wife's death on his own absence somehow. He vowed that he would take care of their son in her stead. The child did not sob, instead standing resolute. He would place the white lilies at the gravestone of his mother, and deep within vowed that he would live up to her splendid Nindo.
Splendora_Gaming and I are writing this story together. I've received permission to include Yuna Uzumaki from Maerry's Novel within this incarnation of the Narutoverse as well, so long as I portray her correctly
His story will be primarily from the perspective of his MC, and chapters where they interact will have few, if any differences between them.
