The Daggers

Rebekah: "you are here, brother"

Viktor: "I'm sorry, I was late"

Rebekah: "no need for that, it was I who fell in love with the wrong person and Niklaus for being well, Niklaus, so no need for you to apologise"

Viktor: "I understand you loved the fool, but what I don't get is you daggering yourself because of him, I mean this isn't your first rodeo with a failed love life, so why go so far as to dagger yourself"

Rebekah: "you wouldn't understand, you had a family with the first woman you loved whereas I had to deal with countless failed relationship, first was Alexander with his betrayal and then the list continues and now Marcel and you expect me to be fine and move on with my life as if nothing happened, I tried brother but the pain of knowing that all my life I have never be loved as a woman and is like the world is telling me that I will never find someone who could tell me he loves me and would like to spend the rest of my life with, so I decided to shut myself and bury the pain with the only way possible by sleeping, so I daggered myself"

Viktor looked at Rebekah with a solemn face as he knew how hurt she were, none of her relationship had ever worked out throughout the centuries, she is bound to be hurt, despite being a vampire, she has a weak heart when it comes to love.

Viktor: "don't say that, you are lovable and will one day find someone who would love you for who you are, Rebekah, and we are always going to be there for you, Always and Forever, but for now, you need to wake up"

Rebekah: "no brother, I can't ...?"

Viktor didn't let her finish as he pressed his fingers against her lips.

Viktor: "shhh, that's was not a suggestion, sister"

Viktor said as he left the dreamscape into the real world.

He opened his eyes back in the room as he reached for the dagger and pulled it out and placed it in his shadow space.

He teleported out of the Abattoir and he didn't take long as he appeared back with two women for Rebekah to feed on when she wakes up.

He compelled them to be in their best behaviour and be obedient until Rebekah wakes up and left the room to see his family in the courtyard with an already healed Niklaus.

Mikael: "how is Rebekah, boy"

Viktor: "she is alright, she just needs a little more time with herself"

Niklaus: "I'm sorry for my inference in Rebekah's life, I thought I was just looking out for her after what happened with that Alexander boy, but l was causing more damage to her than the good I was intending for her"

Viktor: "that's what you should say to her and Rebekah is old enough to take care of herself and her love life, nobody should interfere until she ask, we don't want incidents like this happening again, do we?"

Viktor said not wanting anymore of this drama.

Freya: "that's enough, since Rebekah is alright, we talk about the daggers magically popping out if nowhere, first it was Dahlia, then the original pack also had one, that's making two of the daggers which we are currently in possession of and we don't know if there are any more of this out there"

Freya said as she brought an even more important matter than the love story of her sister, their family's weakness.

Kol: "we could simply use a spell to locate if there are more of them, there is nothing magic cannot solve"

Viktor: "it won't work, I have tried before and from my findings, I don't think anyone who could be able to do something that can weaken us will let it be easily traceable and that someone is out to kill us"

Viktor said as the first time he got the daggers, he tried to locate them but he was blocked and no matter what he did, he couldn't trace the daggers as it was the handiwork of a powerful being and he is still not strong enough yet.

Niklaus: "since we can't find it, then we should look at the pattern at which the daggers are appearing"

Niklaus made that suggestion as if magic can't work, then there are other ways to get things done.

Elijah: "the pattern at which they appeared"

Viktor: "first, it was Dahlia, she said someone gave it to her, then the werewolves, they said it mysteriously appeared to them, ah, I think I've gotten it"

Viktor said after much thinking, he knew that the dagger was given to Dahlia by someone which he knew to be a guardian and now the wolves.

Viktor believed that the daggers was appearing to the major supernatural creatures in the world, for examples, the guardians, the werewolves, the devil, the witches and the hunters and since they are the ones the daggers was made for, it will be unlikely that they will have one, so his best bet for the vampires, will be the very first vampires they themselves sired, Lucien, Tristan and Aurora and the rest that were turned by his other siblings, they will be the ones with the daggers.

Viktor told the rest of his family what he thought while omitting things related to the guardians and the devil as he should not know anything about them yet.

Kol: "so you are saying that, there might be one of these daggers with the witches"

Kol said after hearing what his brother said.

Viktor: "yes, but I doubt it will appear now and if indeed they do have it, we can't just go to them and demand they give us the dagger and we can't ask them peacefully either as they will think we are unto something and the dagger might be a threat to us making the supernatural world go crazy over it"

Niklaus: "so what do you say we do, let them keep it, even if it can't kill us, we can't let it be with them"

Elijah: "let them, it's not like they could even be able to get close to us to use it and sometimes, the best way to destroy someone is by destroying every shred of hope they have when they think they have an advantage against you"

Elijah said as he knew what Viktor was trying to do with the fools with the daggers coming to try and kill them but instead have their lives taken from them and also they will be bringing the daggers to them.

After a while of discussion, the Mikaelson dispersed and went about their day.
