Chapter 8

"What the hell was that dragon? I wasn't the only one who saw that, right?" Yamcha asked.

"I saw that too. A dragon appeared and that person wasn't even afraid of it. He spoke like he was stronger than the dragon. I think we should leave as soon as possible." Puar said.

Meanwhile, Kaito sat down near a stone and Goku also sat near him. Bulma sat near Kaito and Goku lied down on the ground and closed his eyes to rest.

Bulma asked "What was the special ability you were talking about with the dragon? Even the dragon, which is said to grant any wish also couldn't grant it."

"You are the first person who knows this. My special power is called 'Overhaul'. I can tear apart and fix things how I like them." Kaito said.

"Wow, doesn't that mean you are very strong?" Bulma said.

"You are wrong. I can tear apart anything but, I need to know about the thing I am fixing or changing. I usually learn about the constitution of things when I tear them apart but, if I need to change something while fixing them, I need to know everything about that changes.

For example, if I need to replace the engine with a new one. I need to know the details of the new engine. If I need to fix a broken gear of some machine, I need to first know it's dimensions, constitution and position. It takes a lot to just fix even a small thing. It is very useful for destruction but, not useful for fixing. it is easy to destroy things than fix them.

Recently I found out that my power is not that great. I am not able to use it on some objects and some people. I needed to know more about this but, this dragon was not very useful. I have to now figure out something myself. These magical techniques are going to help me." Kaito explained.

Bulma nodded her head and was thinking something when suddenly Kaito shouts "Oh shit. Goku, don't look at the moon."

But, it was already too late. Goku didn't respond and his heart was beating loud that even Kaito and Bulma could hear it.

Then his body slowly started growing in size and fur started growing on his body.

In a minute, he transformed into a giant ape.

Goku roars and beats his chest. Bulma's legs gave up and she couldn't even stand. She asked shivering "Did Goku just turn into a monster? Is that really Goku?"

Goku was going on a rampage. He started smashing the stones nearby.

Seeing that Bulma isn't moving, Kaito carried her and started running away from Goku.

Puar shouted at Yamcha "I told you that we should have left at that time. You stayed to learn more about them. Now, run."

"That kid... He just turned into a monster. Today, I have seen a person destroying things with just a touch, a dragon that grants wishes and a kid that can turn into a monster. I must be dreaming." Yamcha said.

"Now is not the time for this. Run." Pyar said and pulled Yamcha away from there.

Kaito drops Bulma far away from Goku, where she is in a safe distance from Goku. He then heads back towards Goku.

Goku is just mindlessly stomping and smashing things around him.

Kaito knows what to do at that time. He bent down and touched the ground.

Cracks travelled from Kaito's hand to the land below Goku's left leg.

The land below his left leg crumbled and Goku lost balance for a moment. That's when Kaito immediately went behind Goku and cut his tail.

When the tail came off. The monster stopped moving and slowly started shrinking.

Even the tail in Kaito's hand shrunk to the usual size.

Seeing the monster shrink, both Yamcha and Bulma were shocked.

Kaito immediately takes out a syringe and collects Goku's blood and hides the blood sample and Goku's tail in a capsule.

Bulma comes to Kaito and asks "Are you hurt?"

"No, I am fine." he replied.

"What was that? Goku turned into a monster. How did you bring him back?" Bulma asked.

"His tail. If you cut his tail in that form, he will go back to normal. I heard of a monster which only appears during the full moon. Guess he is that monster." Kaito said.

He then looked at a direction and said "The two of you behind that rock, come out."

From there, came a man and a rabit like monster, Yamcha and Puar.

Kaito said "I remember asking you guys to leave. Why are you here?"

Both freaked out and Yamcha said while shivering "We didn't have any vehicle to leave this desert. We would get lost and die. So, we were hoping you would give us a ride."

Kaito looked at Puar and said "You know how to shape shift, right? You are going to tell me all you know about magic."

"Oh yes. I would love to." Puar said.

"Then you both come to Western city. Since you guys are still kids, you can go to school there." Kaito suggested and they thought for a while and accepted.

They left towards the Western city, in the car, Yamcha started acting strange whenever he saw Bulma.

Puar was also not comfortable as Goku was sleeping beside him. Knowing that he can turn into a monster, he can't relax.

They arrived at Western city after two days. Goku departed from them after he woke up. He said he was heading to the turtle hermit as he was his grandpa's master. He wanted to learn martial arts from him.

Yamcha and Puar settled in the city and went to school.

Kaito went to Bulma's house to meet her parents.

They got in and a robot welcomed them. Bulma asked the robot "Where is mom?"

"She is in the garden" the robot replied in a mechanical voice.
